Sterling Holiday Resorts — Cancellation of membership and refund of booking amount

Dear team,

i pradip shrinath mishra : membership id : 1227417. I was approached by mr rameshwar lal on 09 march 2016 regarding sterling holiday membership.I applied for the same on 09 march 2016 and immediately paid rs 17, 903 on 09 march 2016.Again subsequently i paid rs 59, 709 as on 10 march towards membership fees .As soon i became member of sterling holidays ltd, as per membership plan i applied for availing my first holiday with sterling membership from 24 march 2016 to 27 march 2016 at nature trails : sajan nature club through mr rameshwar lal and was promised that it would be booked soon. Henceforth i was in constant contact with mr rameshwar lal regarding booking confirmation at sajan nature club. But however at last moment i.E on 18 march 2016, inspite of promises made by mr rameshwar lal, i came to know that sajan nature club is under renovation and hence no bookings can be done till further notice. Again i.E on 18 march 2016, i enquired for some alternate accommodation for said period nearby mumbai and again mr rameshwar lal promised me that booking can be made at under the over resort, lonavala. So on 19 march 2016 i.E today i asked for the booking status regarding booking confirmation at under the over, lonavala resort, to which mr rameshwar lal asked me to contact your customer care number :[protected] regarding booking details, so accordingly i made a call at your customer care helpline number and was shocked to know that there was no accommodation available for the said period and was asked to contact mr rameshwar lal for further assistance in the said matter.

So finally i did not get any positive confirmation about my booking and i made a call to mr ritesh thakkar, senior executive involved in availing the sterling holidays membership, after all this chaos i requested mr ritesh for cancellation of my membership and demanded full refund amount i.E (Rs 17, 903 + rs 59, 709) booking amount. To which he made a conference call with mr rameshwar lal and immediately asked mr rameshwar lal to refund the entire booking amount as they were unable to provide the holiday accommodation as demanded by me for the said period. Regarding that i also sent a text message to mr rameshwar lal for cancellation of membership and refund the entire amount with immediate effect.So in the end i really had a bad experience with sterling holidays that too on my first booking.

So kindly proceed with the cancellation request of my membership with sterling holiday resorts ltd and refund the entire membership amount paid so far by me.

I sent the email on 09 March 2016, still my membership has not been cancelled and amount not been refunded and inspite of repeated calls after sending email, there is no response for Sterling Holidays regarding cancellation and refund procedure.
