I'm writing this based on my 1 year experience of Sterling membership.
Being a member I have tried booking the Sterling resorts couple of times and every time it's rejected saying room are not available. However, I can book the same room on same dates from any aggregator like MMT.
Then what's point of membership ?
They have tricky polices also to defend it, like only 60-70% rooms are reserved for members etc. Nothing documented though.
Customer service is so pathetic that - Your RM will change but they will not bother to inform you. They need 10 working days to confirm if room is available or not, after very escalation you will be given a new email id for faster resolution- I didn't feel any difference in response though.
I paid 1.8 Laks + 8K maintenance/year. If I ask for cancellation - they will refund me 20K only with almost zero usage.
Technically, stuck with this and don't see a way out. Was this information helpful? |
