Noise pollution (barking dogs) — Stray dogs barking through the entire night
I am a resident of Green Glen Layout, Bellandur, Bangalore. There is a group of 15-20 stray dogs in this area. They keep barking and howling all throughout the night making it very difficult for us to sleep.Where should we go to complaint regarding such loud noise pollution?

SIR,I AM A RESIDENT OF AVANI OXFORD , LAKE TOWN , NEAR LAKE TOWN SWIMMING POOL , 136, JESSORE ROAD. KOLKATA-700055. I AM COMPELLED TO COMPLAIN AGAINST STRAY DOGS IN FRONT OF OUR AVANI OXFORD COMPLEX MAIN GATE. THERE ARE ABOUT 8-10 STARY DOGS WHO BOTHERS EVERY PASSER BY AND EVEN BITTEN A FEW PEOPLE.
I AM REALLY HORRIFIED AS MY 7 YEAR OLD DAUGHTER JUST ESCAPED BEING HARMED BY THESE STRAY DOGS. SHE IS SO SHOCKED AND HORRIFIED BY THE INCIDENT THAT SHE IS CRYING CONTINUOUSLY AND REFUSE TO GO TO SCHOOL. SOME 4-5 DOGS BARKED AT HER AND RAN AFTER HER TO BITE HER WHILE SHE WAS COMING TOWARDS THE MAIN GATE AFTER GETTING DOWN FROM HER SCHOOL BUS. LUCKILY , A MAID OF THE COMPLEX SAVED HER FROM BEING HARMED.
I AM REALLY WORRIED ABOUT THE MENACE AND PROBLEM THESE STRAY DOGS ARE CAUSING TO THE PEOPLE OF AVANI OXFORD.THEY BARK AND RUN AFTER ANYBODY AND EVERYBODY AND ALSO BARK THROUGHOUT THE NIGHT DISTURBING SLEEP.
I REQUEST YOUR KINDSELF TO TAKE THE MATTER SERIOUSLY IN THE M OST URGENT MANNER AND RESUE US FROM THIS EVER INCREASING DOG PROBLEM.

I stay near backside of Metro cash and carry, Kukatpally Y junction region of Hyderabad.I work for a night shift for a private company.While i was returning to my home after my shift in the morning 4:00 AM i see around 50-60 dogs.They become sarcastic and be back of me.Sometimes i lost the control of my bike when they chase back of me.I request you to help me on this and solve this issue.As a responsible citizen i thought of sharing my problem with you.

They chase vehicles and bark at people all throughout the day and keep howling throughout the night giving sleepless nights to residents. We are afraid to come out of our houses. The children and the elderly have no safety walking on roads as these dogs keep chasing and almost bite people. They snatch away the bags from the hands of people. We are facing extreme trouble due to these stray dogs.

STRAY DOGS COMPLAINT — Stray Dogs Menace in West Patel Nagar
We Would like to draw your kind attention towards ANNOYING STREET/ STRAY DOGS in our area BLOCK U, West Patel Nagar, Near Khanna Market.We would like to bring this to your kind notice that lots and lots of stray dogs are there in area. These days, the dogs have been often found sleeping in the stairs of the flats round the clock causing lot of dog bite fear. Many of time these dogs run after our children for biting. With the result, childern of our block, are so fearful and scared, while using stairs and every time we have to drive them away to save our children. Also they sleep at house entrances & do everywhere as a result the roads, foot paths etc. are emitting foul smell.They keep barking and fighting through out day and night which disturb peaceful environment & sleep during the night.
Due to these dogs the residents of this locality are living in very unhygenic, dangerous & disturbing condition.
It has now become perennial problem.As such, I would request the authorities of MCD, to urgently send a dog catcher team for catching the stray dogs so that our complaint is redressed and we could have a sigh of relief.
So we request the authority to take urgent necessary action on it & eliminate the stray animals

Ensure the trainers are properly certified by competent authorities.
Experience and past history in dog rearing.
Must be affectionate towards pets.
Clear tone is a quiet essential commodity.

2.Kennel Manage ment
Kennel management :
Pets should be made to feel all at easy in kennels.
Points to ponder:
They should feel the kennels as their own.
After play time, the place should make them to feel relaxed.
Privacy should be intact.
Safety and protection.
Should be kept clean and dry.
Floors should be washed with dettol like cleansers.
If the dogs are let in before the floor dries, they will develop skin allergy.

Kennels should be well aerated and provided with adequate light source.

Grooming for the period of at least half an hour after training is quiet inevitable 1.ticks checkup 2.ear and eye checkup 3.hair chipping 4. Dressing and medication incase of any injuries 5.brushing. Note that hair fall happens twice a year for pets .They are namely weight, weightless .when weightless hair floats in the air .it causes allergy to the people in the surrounding .hence, the hair should be gathered and put in dustbin after brushing. 6. Finger massage. When wounds are found on the skin, they should be instantly dressed lest the houseflies will sit on the wound and lay eggs there. The eggs will form into worms, which will make the life of the pet quite miserable. Turmeric will make the wound dry .Camphor is a proven remedy for wounds. Coconut oil will also help to heal the wounds. Neem oil helps in reducing the allergies to a considerable extent. Ear should be cleaned once in three days lest the accumulated dirt in ear will fill the ear with unpleasant odor. Cotton should be wrapped round the little finger to clean the ear.
4. Food and Nutrition Methed
The food pattern is quiet important in rearing pets. It should be recognized at the earliest which food timing pattern a particular pet follows. Food timing should never be changed. It should be made sure the food provided to the pets contains required amount of calcium, and multivitamin. Liver tonic should also be continued.

Yes I agree these stray dogs must be removed from our society, even though I am a dog lover and have two great dogs of my own. I live in S block GK 2 and I just cannot take my dogs for a walk as there are these stray dogs hiding under the cars which one cannot see. They come out and attack my pets while I walk. This is very upsetting as my doctors bills are increasing, but more painful for me is seeing my dogs bitten by these strays.
I think the MCD should remove every single stray from our society so that our children can go out to play and our elderly citizens can go for walks in peace and not in fear.
I have phoned up the MCD and complained. They take my address and promise to remove the stray dogs and I am given a complaint number but that is all that happens.
These stray dogs cannot be put up for adoption as they are so ferocious. Some other action should be taken.

Stray Dogs — Life risk from Innumerable stray dogs
Dear SirWe stay in Biman Nagar in Kaikhai, Kolkata .
The area is between Kolkata international airport and New town expressway entrance.
Here around 1000 peaceful people stay.
But life of the locals and specially kids is in danger because of innumerable dangerous stray dogs.
They shout throughout the day and night and dangerously attack kids and even elders.
Please do help out of the situation since there is more than 200 stay dogs in this 300 meter radius.

Dear Sir/Madam,We would like to bring to your notice that there are a number of stray dogs near entrance of Sukhdev Vihar Residential Area, Near Masihgarh Church.
These dogs try to enter homes while the gate opens and chase people causing a sense of panic among passerby and residents. These even used to bark whole night causing so much discomfort and noise pollution. Moreover, their number is also getting increased day by day.

People cant even leave their homes, Stray dogs are a menace.Many of these dogs chase two wheelers and passers by. Unfortunately, these dogs are fed by the localites. Localites must be educated not to do so. Since the roads are busy with vehicles, these dogs could create accidents. Someone being chased could run towards a speeding vehicle. Also these dogs are a big threat to small children, before something serious happens, the authorities must deal with it. The dog squad must remove these dogs immediately.
They even keep barking through out the night resulting in lack of sleep to us. Please help!!

Hello, My self Sunil Nair, Staying at Kharghar, Sector 35G, Hyde Park, Navi Mumbai. There are lots of problem created by stray dogs near the entrance road of the society.I come around 10:30 night from my work, That time there are around 15 to 20 dogs barking at me and coming to bite me. Making It very scary and difficult to travel. I am sure in coming days someone will be bitten by these dogs as there are lots of families staying there.
