[Resolved]  Sun Direct — Not able to view the subscribed channels from past 3 months

I am a customer for Sun direct from 2009 on wards.

Currently i had subscribed for "Malayalam Value Pack" which is valid till 25 April 2022 and also "Kannada Jodi Pack" which is valid till 09th April 2022.

But, i am not able to view few channels which are part of the above mentioned subscription packages.This issue is faced from last 3 months wherein day by day the number of channels which was subscribed is disconnected is increasing.

If contacted to the customer care they straight away say that the issue can be solved only if the technician checks for it.

When the technician contact, they say that your setup box is old and that is the reason channels with high frequencies are not available. Also, they ask for visiting charges and for the new setup box additional charges will be taken.

For getting subscribed packs then why should the customer change setup box which is working in condition?

First of all the way at which Sun-direct deals with the customer is only focusing on charging additional money. When the channels are paid for subscribed packages, it means they are bound to provide the service to customer for whatever technical issue is faced. Instead they charge the customer who has already paid for subscription packages as well as to solve the faults created by there end.

As i have paid my subscription packages which has validity till April 2022, i have decided to keep my Sun-direct connection only till the date even if they disconnect all channels. After which i have decided to disconnect Sun-direct and thanks to them to loose an old customer since 2009.
