[Resolved] Swiggy — food delivered after 2 hours | |
Today i placed 2 orders from same restaurant. Instead of assigning a single executive swiggy assigned two different people for 2 orders. Both the orders i placed around 7:50 pm today.1 st order was delivered at 9:15 pm which was very much late and 2nd was at 9:50 pm. This could have been avoided if same person was assigned for both the orders as ordered from a single account. Earlier also i placed orders like this but that time both the orders were delivered by same guy. Swiggy should really set some cut off time to deliver the food because 2 hour of delivery is quite much time after all they are into food delivery business. They really have not mentioned anywhere about the maximum time for delivery. This allows swiggy to make the customer helpless by making them wait for no limit of time. Today i had to wait 2 hrs it was almost 10 pm when i received the food for my family. I couldn't have done anything if it was delayed for 1 more hour as there is no cap for delivery time mentioned anywhere. A consumer should get his food in a proper time after the order. Swiggy should mention atleast the maximum time required for delivery so that a consumer can opt to choose any other alternative and don't have to struggle this much like i did. Swiggy discount is fake discount. We have checked the price of restaurent is lower on their menu. you hike the price by 25% and then offer discount @ 10 %. on top of that you charge restaurent charge and delivery charge which resturent provides free. I will never use your service henceforth. Swiggy is cheter.
