Syndarogya Group Mediclaim — I am not able to pay premium online

Dear sir,

I have syndarogya health insurance.
I have submitted the premium in 2011, 2012 i missed paying in 2013, so i had to again start. I have paid in 2014 and 2015.

Every time i have to get a dd created in syndicate bank and call person to collect it.

It will be great help if we can have an online premium submission option like any other policy in the world. I struggled to find the premium paid receipt for last year for the tax purpose. Can there be a place where i can login, check policy details, pay premium.

Hello kaushal

Sad that you discontinued the Policy in 2013. Please note that, most of the Insurance companies state that non receipt of renewal Notice cannot be a reason for non payment of renewal premium. It is for our own interest, we should follow up, and pay the premium before date of expiry. In fact, even after the date of expiry, the Policy can be renewed within another grace period of 30 days, subject to certain conditions, thereby retaining the continutity.
Please note that, any claims between the date of expiry and date of renewal shall not be payable . As regards to premium payment, being a Policy exclusively created for the Customers of Syndicacte bank, there are specific conditions such as one should be a customer of the Bank, the Premium shall be routed through the bank by debit of the customer's account and with issual of a Demand Draft in the name of the Insurance Company etc. which are basic conditions. It is better that you adhere to these conditions which will enable for a speedy settlement of claims whenever it arises. hope your doubts are cleared. Nochur Ayyappan from coimbatore

Better you adhere to basic conditions as regards to renewal of Synd Arogya Policies. That, well before the date of expiry of the Policy, maintain sufficient balance in your account, and follow up to ensure that the Bank debit your account with Premium amount and issue a Demand Draft int he name of the insurance Company. immediately after that, send a message to the insurance company to renew the policy and send the policy document directly to your address by courier or speed post. this will ensure that the policy is renewed. unlike normal mediclaim, the Synd Arogya Premium does not change every year, as it is fixed until changes are effected mutually by the Insurance Company and Bank after negotiations. I have not received Id CARD for the said policy. Hence I request you to send the ID card to my residential address mentioned below.

I am a sindh arogya policy holder since last 10 years, my renewal will be in 24 Jan 2021, please inform me how I can continue it with loosing my seniority and with same rate as charged in syndarogya
