I purchased a life insurance policy (Policy No. C[protected] from Tata AIA Life on April 9, 2025, under the Maha Raksha Supreme Select plan. After the medical examination, the policy was declined due to TMT findings. However, even after repeated follow-ups, no refund has been processed.
The most concerning issue is that after policy rejection, all customer support options have become non-functional. The paid helpline only plays IVR messages with no access to a live agent, and emails bounce back or go unanswered. During the policy purchase, their agents were fully available, which shows biased and unethical behavior.
This reflects unfair trade practice and deficiency in service. I request the intervention of consumer authorities to ensure that:
The premium is refunded immediately
Tata AIA is directed to improve its grievance redressal process
Compensation is considered for mental harassment
Relief Sought:
1. Full refund of the premium
2. Written apology from Tata AIA
3. Compensation for delay and harassment
