[Resolved]  Tata Docomo — Incorrect Plan Activated which resulted in Huge amount of bill.

Hello Team,

I did purchased Tata Photon Wifi Max plus in the month of July 2016 with rental as Rs 1, 000 plan of 20 GB unlimited. (Fort, Churchgate Mumabi) Tata Docomo number [protected]

For the month of Aug 2016: I started receiving message that you have exceeded your free limit and will be charged for extra consumption. I did called up call center for the same but they were like ignore the message and bill amount will be adjusted while generating your monthly bill.

Suddenly on 21 Aug 2016, I account got blocked with out any intimation. After calling on call center they informed me that account was blocked due to exceeding credit limit. When I informed that I do have Unlimited usage plan then how come I exceeded credit limit. but still they are like sir you have limited plan activated and need to make full payment to unblock your account.

In-spite of repeating my self that I have enrolled for unlimited plan but still they dint believed on customer. Finally they logged complaint for the same[protected] and provided me with resolution date of 21 Sep 2016 (after one month).

I did visited nearby gallery to check my plan. They also confirmed that document were submitted for Unlimited plan but Limited plan has been activated. Which resulted on such issue. Have called up call center atleast 15 time but every time executive response that we have raised the issue to concern department and they are looking it but no resolution has been provided for the same.

on 22 Aug 2016 : I again called up call center and had a word with one Sr Manager, where he helped me and at least unblocked my account so as to use the service.

Now I did received huge amount of bill of approx Rs 5, 635 against 1, 000 + tax (my plan). When I called up call center then mentioned me that bill is due to excess usage for the month of Aug 2016 which I need to pay. After explaining all the story they again lodged the complain and provide me with resolution date of 21 Oct 2016 (after month). ref no[protected]

In-spite of lots of complaint email and calling on call center I have not received and response from Tata end nor any of the executive bothered to call back for any query or resolution. Just one answer "WE ARE WORKING AND WILL PROVIDE YOU SOLUTION AT EARLIEST".

Couple of point which I wanted to high lite during this issue.
1) How come incorrect plan was activated in-spite of documents submitted for unlimited plan ?
2) No proper investigation was done by executive when I first called up call center and provide me with incorrect information.
3) No proper response from any of the executive at any point of time.
4) None of the executive is bothered to call back client on his query/complaint, It seems no one wants to take up the ownership.
5) My account was blocked for 2-3 days and was not able to use service, who is responsible for delay in my work ?
6) Resolution date for both my complaint is after one month. Such kind of ETA is not acceptable in competitive market.
7) Please note : During my conversation with all the executive I have clearly mentioned that I wont be paying my bill except my basic plan+ taxes as issue is from service provider end and not from consumer end.
8) My last date to make payment is 11 Sep 2016, Please note that I wont be liable to pay any extra amount (late payment charges) if my query is not resolved on time.

Company can also check all the call records if required as all the calls are recorded.

Hope to get resolution at earliest.
