Tata Sky Broadband — Refund denied for advance payment of 3 months

I had installed Tatasky broadband in June'20 and made an advance payment of Rs. 2800 for 3 months. Unhappy with the Internet performance & coverage in the flat, I decided to disconnect the services after a month.

Communicated toTatasky customer care via phone call & email about the disconnection and it was duly completed. However, they informed me on the email that the remaining amount for unsed 2 months of services would not be refunded.

How can they retain the money that is paid in advance for un-utilised services? Kindly intervene and get my hard earned money back.
