[Resolved] Tata Sky — deactivation before time | |||
Tat sky id [protected] arvind jaiswal 101, vinayak apartment, opp. Sai temple, thornhill road, allahabad, 211001 I took connection of tata sky in first week of oct 2018 and paid connection charges of rs 2000/- to vendor (Mr lalit soni) of allahabad. I was provided with a stb and was told that the amount is inclusive of one month subscription. I got message in last week of oct to recharge it. I paid 220/- recharge amount for 30 days wef 1.11.2018. To my dismay the connection is deactivated on 22nd of nov, 18. I contacted to customer care, the responding official said that rs 95/- has been deducted for hdd charges. My issue is that when i have not requested for hdd and at the time of recharge, not opted/ paid for hdd charges how and why tata sky has given me this. How tata sky can deduct rs 95/- from my recharge subscription amount (I. E. Rs 220/- for 30 days) and deactivate the connection before 30 days. This is kind of cheating by a corporate. You are, therfore, requested to restore the facility immediately for 30 days failing which the matter will be escalated to trai and may also lodge complaint to consumer forum, allahabad.
