[Resolved]  Tata Sky — deduction of extra charges in the name of relocation service

My building is having centralised single dish of yours and i have shifted my flat within the same building when i contacted customer care to know how should i go about it, she said she will send technician. I thought i might have to re install everything and start from beginning the installation process which i can't do. The technician came just joined a cable and they said your system is relocated and you will be charged 300 rs for that which are immediately debited from tata sky account. What is the use of having single centalised dish, i have changed from videocon to tatasky just because of that. These days doctors even charge less money for their services. I can understand what relocation means. If i would have relocated from one building to another and your technician would have to do all the things which he has done while first installation then i would have understood why rs 300 are charged. If your customer care person had told me about just connecting the cable i would have done it myself instead of paying 300 rs to you people. After all it's my hard earned money. I want return of that which you have charged wrongly in the name of relocation service. Now i am getting reply to my complaint that this is our company policy.

I am also facing the same issue. Tata sky is charging 300rs just to update the address. I have done all the installation and fitting in the new building which has a common tata sky dish. Why is tata sky exploiting customers in the name of relocation service.
