[Resolved] Tata Sky — increased charges | |||
I paid 14483 for 1 year on January 1st for yearly plan for 3 TV's Now they have increased the pricing to 27654 i.e 2305 and even taking advance for the year according to 1206 RS per month they started charging me 2305 per month and the plan which should have end in January they ended that on September itself They increased the prices without our consent or without informing us at all about that When called they told us TRAI revised the guidelines but little they know that they have taken advance from us and in the new guidelines given by TRAI, they have to fulfil the period for which they have taken advance Please help Was this information helpful? | |||

Verified Support Sep 20, 2019 Tata Sky Customer Care's response Hi, these changes are being made in order to comply with the "Telecommunication (Broadcasting and Cable) Services Tariff Order" issued by the Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI). The said order is applicable on all broadcasters (such as Star, Sony, Zee, etc) and distributors of content such as DTH operators, Cable operators and Internet Protocol TV (IPTV).
