Tata Sky — installation, payment, fraudulent

We have newly shifted to kochi and booked for an online connection through tata sky. The customer service rep called immediately and asked to pay the money online and we did. Rs 1300. We booked on saturday-12th may 18 and we kept on following up with customer care on when is the technician coming, the rep gave false promise that the agent will come on the sameday, but didnt turn up.

The next day also we followed up with customer care again gave false promise that technician will come that day and when followed up representative started disconnecting the call.

We traced out an authorized dishtv service agent who had our ticket which is raised from customer care and started following up with him. After two days technician turned up, made the entire living room dirty and told that connection wont be possible and he demanded extra rs 500. But didnt turn up for again two days.

We followed up as we had already paid the money and right now i again called up customer care and the local agent and told to refund the money. I do not know how many more days it will take..
The problem here is not the technicality or time taken but the false promises, lethargic actions, cheating and lot o[censored]nprofessionalism.

I would like to assert the fact that you guys are just looting random people in the name of this company. There are no front end representatives with a little bit of customer service skills also. All are just cold, dont know what they are doing and not even properly alligned and co-ordinated to each other. There was not even a bit of empathy shown towards a customer who lost 1300 rs and instead the local agents in kerala were very rude and pathetic.

The numbers i interacted are [protected], [protected], [protected] plus i called the customer care and requested call back but no one did-what systems in place :p

The representatives dont know to speak in english both in call centre and kerala. How are they hired and how is this company just living on services which they have not rendered? How many years will you just loot people by the help of some dumb employees and just because customers do not have the time and mindset to spoil their day?
