Tata Sky — Pathetic customer service

I have 2 TVs and 2 set top boxes, in a multi-TV setup. This is a new connection that I purchased in April 2015 and the new set top box is under warranty. My new set top box stopped working on 2-Aug-15 while the other multi-TV HD box was working perfectly fine. I lodged a complaint about this on 3-Aug-15 to customer care clearly explaining the problem was with the new set top box under warranty. A service engineer came in but did nothing since the connection started working on it's own. He did NOT even open his bag. However, service charges of Rs. 170 were deducted from my account for false claims by the technician that he fixed something. I have been chatting and calling their customer service ever since and was finally assured a callback which came a whole 3 days later on 6-Aug-15. The callback ensued a technician call twice and I explained it three times today itself. The call center callback engineer then called to inform the case will be closed since their technician has confirmed he fixed something on the dish TV and not set top box, which is a BIG LIE. The technician never did anything on the Dish given its on a locked terrace which he has no access to without our permission. Second, the moment he visited, the set top box had already started working which means he had no reason to access the dish. This has been my worst experience in 4 years with tata sky customer service. It has also bought to light integrity issues of their technicians who are trying to make smart money without even opening their tool bags. The end result is my multi-TV is not functional for last 4 days due to lack of balance which I had duly charged but have been robbed of the balance (Rs. 170) which their technicians have incorrectly deducted. This is beyond the pain of a careless customer service executive and technical team who is interested in gulping down false charges only and have not shown a hint of resolving my problem at all. I would appreciate if this gets true, honest and immediate resolution from a brand like Tata
