Dear sir,

For over 12 years, i have a tata docomo broad band service. My tata docomo (Previously vsnl) email id is [protected]@vsnl.net.
In recent times, i do not find the service useful and am unwilling to renew. I sent 11 (Eleven) emails expressing my reluctance to renew and requesting cancellation. However, i found that my emails were neither acknowledged nor replied to. Additionally, much to my disappointment tata teleservices continues to insist on payment of renewal subscription charges of rs 1, 179/. For a service i do not want at all.
Despite my advanced age, on 9th august’2018i went personally to the office of tata teleservice in sector v, kolkata. After hearing my complaint, they issued a cancellation request no[protected] dated 09/08/2018 (Reference no[protected]. Again, i visited your sector v office on 16th august;18 but the outcome was unsatisfactory with no concrete action being taken..
Regretfully, i have to point out that:
1) the cancellation request is yet to be implemented. To this day (I. E. 17/08/2018), new emails are still coming in.
2) a demand notice for rs 1, 179/- was issued to me on 8th august’2018. Every day, i am receiving at least 2 payment reminders for renewal of service which i have insisted on discontinuance.

I am pained to see the apathy and inaction at the office of such a respectable organization will you please enquire into the matter and take appropriate action to stop the continuing harassment.
Please accord this matter your priority attention.

I sent an email to you on 17th August'2018 apprising you of the difficulties I am encountering due to Tata Tele Services- without any request on my part - unilaterally extending BroadBand Service beyond due date and thereafter having ignored my repeated Cancellation requests and insisting on payment of Renewal Subscription of Rs 1, 179/ for Fiscal 2018 19.

1)Further to the previous Demand Notice dated 8th August'2018, today i.e on 21/8/2018, I have received a fresh Demand Notice dated 20th August'2018 which please find in attachment. Every day, with unfailing regularity, I also receive SMS messages reminding me of the Renewal Subscription of Rs 1, 179/-- for a service I do not want. Incidentally it may noted that I have never sought Renewal of the Broadband service and had sent 11 emails requesting cancellation which are available in your records.

I believe, it is not the intention of a reputed organisation like Tata Tele Services to unilaterally, without any request, extend BB Service beyond Due Date and then ignore requests for Cancellation of Service and then follow-up /enforce payment of Renewal Subscription. You will agree that is grossly unfair.

2) Though I have requested stoppage of service, the email account is yet to be closed and I observe that till today fresh emails are being received daily.

I do hope you will follow up resolution of the matter and take appropriate action towards redressal of the continuing harassment.

Would be obliged if you accord this matter your immediate attention.
