Tata Teleservices — Tata docomo broadband/unwanted bill generation-threatening calls & poor customer care | |||||
First of all, Tata Teleservices claims to deliver one of the best and fatstest broadband services and try to fool the customers. The day this broadband connection was applied with no. [protected], couple of days the same only it was not at all working. I had immediately reported the same to CC and was informed that a service engineer will be paying visit of the same but no compliant no. was shared with us. Yet no-one visited or called for more than 2 weeks, Not to mention in this whole duration, we had totally stopped using this new Tata docomo broadband connection and had resumed our existing connection. The usage logs can be checked for this connection for further reference. Post 2 weeks, the service engineer who came, even did not try to sort the issue and gave the feedback that there is some issue with the fiber optic box connected in my block. Being a customer, my issue still remained the same and during this duration I had already called CC again to get the connection disconnected due to the pathetic connection and service being offered by your company. Post that also, I wrote a formal mail to get the connection disconnected in the same month but I failed to get any response on that. Infact, your company continued to generate bill for 2 more months. Where it can be clearly seen from usage history that there was no usage at all from our end since we had physically disconnected this in the same week in which this was connected. Additionally, we had even asked to take back the relevant device/router, which again was not done for couple of months. Finally an employee of yours had come and we had returned the relevant device as well. Yet the bill was being generated for 3 months continuously where I had asked to disconnect in the first month i.e. the very week it was connected. From last year end, I have started receiving threatening calls and mails for legal action from multiple nos. and departments. Some of them are extremely rude and unprofessional and has been a total harassment for me. It has been now more than 2 years and am still getting such mails where I had already responded timely and asked for the relevant disconnection but timely response was not done fromyour end. Not to mention, I have repeated this several times to several team or employees of yours. Rather than you being apologized for the way your engineers and customer care support staff handled this issue originally, you continue to send me such mails for outstanding bill payment without investigating the complete issue. The multiple calls which I had with your CC executive along with my data usage can be validated from your call center recordings and database. If I had used your connection even for a day or so properly, would have considered myself guilty and agreed to pay the bill for that month (not the further months as had asked for disconnection in same month). Hence finally I had to report this to the consumer forum as this has become a real frustration & harassment for us as a customer as I was the one who suffered because of your poor and irresponsible services and am not entitled for any such bill payment for a product/service which I did not use at all.
