TCL Holdings — 75 Inch TV

My TV was not working properly; it would keep turning off on its own. So, I raised a service request with TCL customer care. After a long wait of 15 days a service representative came to visit, with a software update. The service representative tried to update the TV, but that failed. This caused the TV screen to black out, ultimately completely breaking down my TV (which earlier was still functioning most of the time). However, I kept patience, and the technician told me that a new motherboard will need to be installed. He then raised a request and told me to wait for a week for resolution. After about 2 weeks (twice the duration committed) a new motherboard did come. Hopeful that my TV would be fixed I even cancelled my office meetings and to tend to the technician. Nevertheless, when he came with the new motherboard, I & my family were thrilled. Sadly, the motherboard sent by TCL was dead on arrival, which meant that the last 30 days of wait was for nothing and my TV was still broken. The technician then again promised that a new motherboard will be sent to us, this time on priority. Another week passed and we waited, but there was no communication from TCL. After about 40 days of waiting from my original complaint, having lost my patience, I contacted the support team again. At this point I was informed that there has been no subsequent request for another motherboard and that the entire process has to be restarted. Today is the 60th day since my original complaint. My TV is still broken and I haven't received any resolution. My warranty runs out in August, 2025 and I think TCL team is deliberately trying to delay the process and keep me stuck in a loop to avoid their warranty obligations. At this point I have completely lost faith in the TCL brand and would never recommend anyone to buy a TCL TV.
