I am extremely disappointed with my experience with TCL India regarding my television purchase. I bought a TCL TV via Amazon around 1 year and 8 months ago, and from day one, I have been facing a persistent flickering issue.

Despite raising multiple complaints, TCL’s service team has repaired my TV 7-8 times, replacing the motherboard and software on multiple occasions. However, the issue remains unresolved and has worsened, now occurring four times a week.

I have repeatedly requested a replacement as it is evident that the issue is due to a manufacturing defect, but instead of addressing my genuine concern, TCL keeps scheduling service visits that provide only temporary fixes lasting just a few days. This cycle has continued for over a year, wasting my time and patience.

Even after providing video evidence and multiple reports to TCL India's support team, they refuse to acknowledge the need for a replacement and instead keep delaying the resolution with repeated service visits.

    Dear Customer Service Manager TCL Ifalcone,
    I hope this email finds you well. I am writing to address a concerning issue I have encountered with my IFalcone TCL LED television.
    On February 22nd, 2024, while enjoying television, I experienced an unexpected and troubling problem with my LED TV. Suddenly, the screen completely turned black, rendering the television unusable.

    Immediately, I reached out to your toll-free customer care service and raised a complaint, resulting in the assignment of Case ID: IN[protected]. On February 23rd, 2024 (Friday), a TCL technician promptly responded to my complaint and visited my address to inspect the problem. To my surprise, within 15 minutes, he claimed to have rectified the issue, attributing it to a minor dust problem. He restarted the television and informed me that, as my TCL Iffalcon 43 inches TV is not under warranty, I would need to pay Rs. 400 towards service charges. I duly cleared the bill, assuming the problem was resolved. Moreover, I requested the technician to provide the bill, to which he replied that the bill would be sent via WhatsApp. (However, the technician mentioned that I should be content that the issue was resolved.)
    On February 23rd, 2024, at 4:40 PM, upon attempting to power on my TCL Iffalcon TV, I encountered the same malfunction. I immediately contacted your customer service hotline, and a technician arrived at 6 PM to perform troubleshooting once again. To my dismay, the technician now informs me that the motherboard is malfunctioning and requires replacement, which would cost approximately Rs. 8000.
    I am under the assumption that the technician was unable to provide proper service and may have performed faulty procedures, resulting in my TCL Iffalcon TV malfunctioning.
    I am deeply concerned and disappointed by this turn of events. It is disheartening to experience such a major issue, especially after the initial assessment indicated a minor problem. I urge you to reconsider the diagnosis and explore alternative solutions to rectify the issue without incurring additional expenses.
    As a loyal customer, I have always appreciated the quality and reliability of TCL products. However, this experience has left me feeling frustrated and inconvenienced. I trust that you will prioritize this matter and take swift action to address the situation.
    I kindly request your immediate attention to resolve this issue and restore the functionality of my IFalcone TCL TV without incurring excessive costs.

      Warranty claim

      I’m filing this complaint due to the horrendous service provided by TCL customer support team. My sister purchased a 43’ TCL smart tv unfortunately the display is not working. The product is within warranty but unable to claim it due to loss of invoice copy. My brother in law who bought the tv passed away not sure where the invoice is misplaced. Tried contacting the dealer who sold the tv but they have shut down their business - Chellamani...

      There is a Bug in TCL TV . It cannot play any 4K UHD with Dolby vision in its OTT APPS . The Vedio hangs . I have Disney+ Hotstar and SonyLiv with premium plans, and I am unable to play any new web series which has 4K UHD with Dolby vision vedio.

      I has raised a complaint with the complaint number IN[protected]. This case has been abruptly closed without any updates given .

      This is a bug and needs to be rectified, its a shame that TCL is doing a covering act by closing this complaint without any updates.

      Please fix this Issue, before its circulated in the media .

        My LED TV’s panel has been damaged 2 times. The service provided by them is pathetic.
        I lodged a complain on November till now no replacement is done.
        They are also not picking up my calls.
        When they do pick up they talk very rudely.
        Please kindly do the needful in this regard.

          The TV screen went black and none of the "troubleshooting tips" resolved the issue. It seems that, based on thousands of other consumer complaints, this is a common issue with TCL Roku products, which primarily happens AFTER the 1-year warranty expires. I spoke with a TCL "technician" but he refused to assist because he claimed the product was outside of the warranty period. It was manufactured in June 2021, purchased in August of 2021, and the problem arose out of nowhere on Dec 23, 2022.

          Roku and TCL are aware of this issue but continue to manufacture products with defective OS, backlights, LED Lights, and overall programming issues. The matter should be investigated by the US Consumer Protection Agency.

            Hi,

            I purchased TCL 65 inches TV.
            Service engineer raised request for parts replacement on 22nd aug 2022.
            After one week, again one more request raised for tv replacement because no parts available .
            After somany followups and escalation, 40th day I got number of regional manager and he proposed option replacement with iffalcon 65 inches .i agreed the same because he also not sure when TCL same brand 65 inch tv will replace .
            TV reached samvitha enterprise vijayawada on 4th oct '2022 till today they didn't delever tv to my home.

            TCL such a worst service support and no proper escalation hierarchy .Really fed up ..TCL makes customers to beggars (because somany followups customers need to do with service team).

            Any one help me how can I sort out my issue ..
            Requesting all don't purchase TCL brand .

              TV was purchased on 11th August 2021, in which repair center from Margao replaced the screen July 2022. Within 48hrs the panel was exposed and screen started to hang out again the service center was contacted and it was taken back to repair center from Margao replair... returned and same issue continue. Service center was called in which Ms Gauri Bana was very rude in which she stated " If you want use it if not throw out OR bring it by yourself to repair center.
              TV is brought to repair center by my own and Ms Gauri had the same behaviour...

                    I purchased 65 inches TCL TV Model 65P715 on 30 Sep 20 from TataCliQ. The display panel went blank on 24 Jul 21 and after the service call, TCL engineer informed that the TV would be replaced. My complaint no IN[protected] dt 25 Jul 21.

                    I was informed that I would be given replacement TV by 10 Aug 21. However even after FOUR months I didn’t get any intimation or replacement date for my TV. Since Sep 2021, it was informed emailed to me that the replacement TV has already been dispatched. However, till date I haven't received any news of my TV.

                    Very poor customer response. Even after endless calls, chats and emails, I am still to receive replacement TV. I have also requested that if the particular model have been discontinued or would take more time, then provide my equivalent latest model available or refund me the TV cost.

                    Please take up shameless TCL for the resolution at the earliest.

                      It has been three weeks since the television is lying unattended. What is the purpose of taking additional warranty of two years if the natural warranty for the very first year is not being honoured?

                        This is regarding the JOB ID# IN[protected] for the TCL model# 50P615. I have initially raised a TCL complaint on July 9th, First visit happened on July 12th. The technician updated that, this requires the TV to be transported to the service center to fix a backlight problem, to replace the panel.

                        Afterwards it took 2 weeks for the service center to send someone to pick my TV from home (On July 27) after customer service escalated a couple of times. I was updated initially that I will be getting it repaired in a week.

                        Every week they used to tell me that, TV will be delivered next week next week etc. It's NOW A MONTH I DON'T HAVE TV AT MY HOME. TV is in Warranty so far, and I get this pathetic service after sales on a product that's in warranty. It's too bad you guys are doing after sales service.

                        I am fed up with calling both the TCL customer support and the Local Service center (Trivandrum, Kerala, India location contact), and hence writing this email. On Aug 16th, they said I will get the TV before Aug 24th, and no one contacted me yet (Which they never used to and I am hearing false promises multiple times already!!!).

                        Today is Sep 4, I escalated to TCL emails but no PROPER Response about Ruturning myTV...

                        THOSE WHO PLAN TO BUY TCL, MY STRONG RECOMMENDATION IS NOT TO BUY, AS THEIR INSTALL, POST PURCHASE SERVIVE ETC ARE TOO BAD AND YOU LOSE YOUR TIME. I AM IN WARRANTY PERIOD AND I DONT HAVE MY TV AT HOME FOR AROUND 1.5 MONTHS. LITERALLY I LOST MY 1.5 MONTH USAGE IN WARRANTY!!!

                                I complained to TCL on December 2019 to repair TV they didn't repair since 2020 even iam complaining continuously since feb2020 they came at may 2020 and want to pay money and I phone call to it they tell we will do free but they are not doing it till now nov2020

                                  Suddenly the tv 's display has been dead from last month 20/5/20, that time i was raised the several complaint s to the shop & customer service, my complaint no is in[protected], in [protected] they have confirmed that the service engineer will come within a week but not yet reached for repairing.
