[Resolved] Tecprotec — Insurance of mobile phone

I have insured my mobile with Tecprotec. When I claimed for the damage of my phone, they send me the quotation. As per the quotation sent to me the amount of the repair was Rs. 17020, more than the current market price. As per terms and conditions the maximum amount which I could get at that time was around Rs. 6000 only, and so they asked me to deposit around Rs. 11000 and then I requested them to send my phone back to me. Later the actual cost of repair carried out by me at authorized Samsung service centre is only Rs. 7086.81. Later I send them a mail regarding the same on 8th March regarding the same. I did not get any reply and so I sent a reminder mail on 24th March. But surprisingly on the same address my mail is not delivered and bounced back to me. Probably they blocked my E.Mail.
Please do the needful. I am enclosing the quotation sent by them and the invoice of the repair.

The company paid Rs 5803. They asked me to submit the original invoice of repair and credited the above mentioned amount in my account. This is because of this forum only. Thanks.

After your intervention, I got a mail from tecprotec side on March 29th 2016 stating that my case is being forwarded to Oriental Insurance Co. and they will revert back to me once they get some reply from insurance co. Then after around one week I made calls to techprotec twice and both the time they replied they they will reply me within two three days. It has been 10 days now since my last call and I have heard nothing from their side. Today I tried to call them but could not connect to customer care executive. Call is connected to computerised voice but when it comes to connect to some executive it disconnects. Please do the needful.

Hi

I bought me mobile from ezone and tecprotec insurance cover and there was an accidental damage after 15 days and i applied for insurance cover.

after one month they accepted my documents and asked to send the mobile with original bills. It been 10 days an i am following with them but no response. I try atleast 20 times there call center but no one responded .i really repenting on buying the tecprotec insurance cover.

Same with me, I bought the insurance from ezone, I have tried and tried to reach Tecprotec but to no avail, I keep getting a message that their office is currently closed. The message I have for everyone is DO NOT BUY PHONE INSURANCE IN INDIA, this is the second phone insurance that I have bought, the first was OneAssist, both seem to be frauds, no hope of getting any service from them. Keep your money and fix the phone yourself, the stress and loss to these people is not worth it. Please spread the message.

I bought me mobile from ezone @ Sec - 18 DLF Mall of India and tecprotec insurance cover and there was an accidental damage after 1 month and i am trying to connect with Tecprotec Customer Care number for insurance .

But not getting any revert nor getting connected.

The Mobile Store in Adiya mall, indirapuram Ghaziabad, insisted me to take insurance from http://amtrustmobilesolutions.in/ but now after 3 month my phone accidently got damaged. There is NO reply from http://amtrustmobilesolutions.in/ call center people now have blocked my phone number. These people once they got to know a case, they block it and try every mean to escape. NEVER EVER buy from them.
