I booked a consignment (Tracking No. IJK28903272, weight 6.75 kg, paid Rs. 410) from the Irinjalakuda branch (Thrissur, Kerala) to be delivered to the receiver’s address in Karyavattom, Thiruvananthapuram. The receiving branch (Kazhakkuttam) refused to provide doorstep delivery, which is part of the standard service offered. A staff member called from +[protected]registered to the branch manager, Mr. Ravikumar) and stated that the parcel had been left out in the rain, and that I should either collect it myself from the branch or it would be returned to the sender.
When I escalated this to the Trivandrum customer care office, the representative was dismissive and mocked the complaint, stating this could be “their standard” of service. This reflects gross deficiency in service and unprofessional conduct by company staff.
Relief Sought:
1. Delivery of the parcel to the address provided, as per the original service terms.
2. Confirmation of the parcel’s condition (it was reportedly exposed to rain).
