Tikona — Bill Charged and Demand notice for services not used | |||||
Introduction: We are engineers working in Mumbai from August 2014 and we live in a rented apartment. We first subscribed to Tikona broadband service in Nov 2014. Thereon, we have been regular customer for Tikona till June 2014. Customer ID: [protected] Complaint: When we decided to change the rented accommodation in the same apartment, we found that the wireless service available in the earlier flat are no more available in the new rented flat. So we called Tikona for proper service, but there was no response by Tikona. They were not able to fulfill there own service commitments to us. So we decided to terminate the service. Tikona was fully aware of the same and they immediately sent their personnel to collect the modem etc. The termination request was made on 30 June 15, when we already paid the complete bill in advance. Billing amount: Rs 2285/- Additional amount to Pay: Rs 600/- [If we don't pay they are threatening to drag us to Delhi court] Never-mind the refund for the remaining period, the bill was carried for the next couple of months and we were issued a demand notice. Wary of legal case, we paid for the services we never used. They are still billing us even today when we are not using their services. I would request anyone with proper knowledge for similar cases to please guide us to sue such company. For the record, I have all the mails and communications. I have a proper case to persuade.
