[Resolved] Tikona — Delayed final settlement and then charging late payment fee | |||||
Hello Sir, I am a Tikona broadband user. My user id is [protected]. I made a request to terminate the connection on 8th June 2016. After waiting for 3 months I got final settlement on 19th September 2016. And in the final settlement bill they are applying late payment charges.! The last bill before requesting termination was on 7th June, and bill value is Rs 805, which I have already paid. But they are saying since this bill was due on 22nd June, and I did not pay by that time, so I have to pay late payment charges. But I did not pay the bill because I had sent a termination request and their customer care said that 'they will send a final settlement, and after getting final settlement I should pay the bill'. On one hand Tikona delayed the final settlement by 3 months, and on top of that they are applying late payment charges to the last bill. Is this justified sir?
