[Resolved] Tikona — False commitments and billing | |||||
I am using Tikona internet connection since last year April. It was intermittent, and I wanted to end it, and finally raised a request for connection on January 26, for the first time. I was immediately asked to keep 7 days monitoring period after which I am free to decide. I was told there will be no charging for this period and that the billing cycle is stopped at that date. After 7 days there is no correspondence from Tikona, I have tried calling, customer care rarely connects. I though someone would call. After some days, a bill of 2600 was thrown at me. I was shocked. It should have been 1200 for January only. But the bill was of charges of February inclusive, after the seven days of monitoring. (For which as well I am not entitled because the plan was for 4 MBPS, and never did I get such speed, only 2 MBPS). After that I tried calling Tikona many times, and only after many failed attempts of convincing them to discontinue my connection, I finally again succumbed to the persuasive behaviour of Tikona Team. This time again I was offered to pay the remaining Rs 1875, after settlement of all charges and taxes and incentives and waivers ( I was told my total outstanding amount is Rs 1875). Rs 200 would be discounted if I still continue for another monitoring period, for which I will have to pay at the end of month, for whatever the usage is. After that, only within next two three days, I do not remember when as only after I logged into my Tikona account, was when I knew I had outstanding of Rs 900 again, this was for the next billing cycle. This is totally unacceptable, in fact infuriating. I want to settle everything with Tikona. And make it clear that the pain and loss of time are also losses concerned. They have caused immense headache, pain and loss of my time. This should be the end of it. (I am not entitled to any further payment, in fact I should ask for compensation) Was this information helpful? | |||||
