[Resolved] Tikona — continued harassment/blackmail from tikona for past 6-8 months | |||||
This is the email i finally wrote to Tikona customer care since i can never get to reach them and being harassed by their automated calls to pay for services i did not use and the ones i used were pathetic. Hello, this mail is regards to a reply for continued harassment from Tikona. I stopped using Tikona services due to continued poor services, and no action to improve them. I was cooperating with Tikona for quite a long while as i kept paying all my dues on time, but, i finally lost my patience when there was no action to improve the services from the broadband service provider's end, even after making repetitive calls to seek help on the same. Finally when there was no action towards solving my problem and helping me for a few months now, i decided to not waste my money anymore and called Tikona in order to stop my services, but the services were not stopped from company's end even when i requested Tikona to do so. I received a call from Tikona customer care team (Service Head), stating that necessary actions to improve the services have been taken and that i should Continue using the services, but i denied the offer as i was done with all the money i had wasted already and asked him kindly to stop my services. Even after making a kind request to stop the services, my services were not stopped so i had to disconnect the router in order to not use it anymore. Another thing to note here is that Tikona's services, being Pre-Paid and not received a payment to continue the services, were still being provided to me for some reason that i do not find an answer for, whereas, my services should have been stopped. After my continued request to stop the services, a bill for an overdue amount was sent to me and my services were finally stopped from Tikona's end a month later. I was spammed and harassed with calls and texts and e-mails from Tikona for almost 6 months for paying for services that i never availed! Due to the continued harassment i had to block Tikona so finally it could stop. Finally, being a silent victim for so long, Tikona sent me a demand/legal notice in order to harass me even further, asking me to pay for services i did not use. So i have finally gone ahead and consulted my lawyer to make a complaint against Tikona broadband service providers, in the national consumer court in subject to continued customer harassment for over 6 months, with all the necessary evidences, and i am looking forward to take further actions only if required. Tikona's claim is illegitimate and stands null and void against the facts i have stated in this e-mail. I am open to speak peacefully with Tikona officials regarding this issue as i can never reach the customer care number. Advocates blackmailing me to pay the dues or else legal action will be taken, as well as, i received a call and Whats app message from Raghubeer Saha who claimed to be a Tikona advocate from karkardooma court and asked to pay the dues or threatened to take legal action, however, i was look able to find him by his name on the website of BAR COUNCIL OF DELHI (http://delhibarcouncil.com/search-member) and the Tikona website clearly states that all legal disputes shall be under 'jurisdiction of the courts located in Mumbai'. Even after calling the customer care and telling them their internet never works, or when it does, its better off not working, no action was taken so i had to call and tell them to stop services but they did not listen and sent me a bill due. After going though consumer complaint forums and other websites, i have realise that no doubt this is a scam to harass and blackmail consumers after providing pathetic services to them.
