[Resolved]  Tikona — Harassment calls & threatening calls & wrong recovery of charges

Tikona building bad image for themselves & it will suffer due to bad publicity. Tikona Subscriber Id - [protected] I was using tikona service for last 3-4 years(opted the services in 2011). I paid all the tikona bills well in time till Feb 2014(Mistake from my side - I did not ckecked the indivisual components & just paid the final bill amount every month. But this does not means that I get penalized for that & it's not a crime & I am supposed to get reimbursement of the money if I have paid extra by mistake). I had requested about the deactivation of Wi-Fi services in the past several times but even if they generate the request Id for the complaint, may be under different lable. E.g. : Request Id : 1-[protected] registered on 10th Oct 2013 at 9:18 am for reversal of Rs. 75/- agianst Wi-Fi services. Ideally it should get deactivated & further charges for the same service should not reflect in the bill, but it did not happened & it keep on reflecting in the subsequent bills till Mar 2014. It was Feb 2014, when I had some technical issue with the Internet access & I called up service engg. at my place & while conversation in general I asked him about my billing plan & he asked me show the bill copy for the reference. I provide him the bill copy & during discussion I agian asked about the Rs. 75 component in the bill to him. He subsequently called up the cust. care & replied me that, this are the Wi-Fi activation charges.I said, I am not using any Wi-Fi service & also put request for revarsal for the same some time back & don't have any device installed from tikona to use the Wi-Fi service as they have installed Nano Station(wired device installed on top of my building) at my place as the signals are very weak from wireless modem which they normally install indoor. I paid Rs. 75/- for last 24-36 month(Approx. more than Rs. 2000/-). Subsequently I put the request for Wi-Fi de-activation to tikona customer care & also put the request for reversal of the Wi-Fi charges I paid for the more than 2 years as the customer care executive said there is no record for request for deactivation or reversal in the system for which I have already mentioned in paragragh no. 2 under lable E.g.. To my disappointment from tikona I only got false promises about settlements & in reality nothing happened & kept on generating the request ID's with tikona & in system they mentioned that all the requests have been closed(resolved). They offered to wave off Rs. 75/-(1 months Wi-Fi charge waiver) from the oustanding amount.In between they deactivated my services for non payment in March 2014. I requested them to adjust the cumulative waiver amount(Rs. 2000/-) against my bill generated on 26th Feb 2014. After several follow ups with the billing dept. & repeating the whole consequences n numbers of times to every executive was really frustrating experience. And then the day came when I got reply that waivers can not be done & you have to pay the outstandings. Even I replied the same way, if you don't consider to waive of my extra money I have paid then I am not going to pay your outstanding. I did not got any call from the billing dept about resolution, but to my surprise the recovery dept was very prompt in reminding me on regular basis about my dues. I called up the customer care again to know status about my service termination & property handover process. The field executive came on 3rd May 2014 to collect the property which belongs to tikona & gave me the acknowledgement slip for the same. I received email on 5th May 2014 to my Rediffmail a/c about legal action which due to my unavailability could not checked in time & today came to know about the legal proceeding when I received call from Number +91 [protected] a lady Miss. Rekha, identified herself as an official working with a Court in Delhi. To my surprise she was very rude in her conversation while detailing me about filing an lawsuit against me worth Rs. 3041/-(Rs. 1500 for tikona property + Rs. 1540/- for oustanding bill). She asked me if I am willing to settle this outstanding? And I said I will pay it. As I already had enough suffering dealing with tikona I really did not wanted to stretch it further & hence I paid online Rs. 1540/- against my outstanding bills.I received call after I made payments & I convey the official about the same to which she replied the outstanding was Rs. 3041/- & the amount I paid was not sufficient. She also convey that despite of the payment I have made against my outstanding bills I'll have to face a law suit as I have not paid the full amount i.e. Rs. 3041/-. Logically I am not liable to pay the second part of the payment i.e. Rs. 1500/- against there property as I have already handed it over to the authorised field executive of tikona on 3rd May 2014 & got acknowledgement slip for the same. From customers perspective I paid for the services on monthly basis which I did not opted for, I did not get any reversal against that extra payment made to tikona (Approx Rs. 2000/-), my services got disconnected due to non payment of dues, still my next months bill got generated & I also paid that. Now this is totally unfair despite of all the suffering caused to me & after paying tikona's dues & after handing over your property, if still I am facing legal action then its a harassment. @Amol You can check many posts by Tikona on this website only. They are not calling and writing the same for all customers.

Call is prank which is coming from Tikona side from these numbers. If you want, we can come together for a complain against Tikona.
