Tikona Care,
You collection team has been calling me and harassing me for payment that i do not owe you. I have clearly requested for termination of my Tikona broadband connection in Gurgaon through an email and phone communication.
I informed them that i am moving out of the city and will not use your services after end of Jan 2016 and made advance payment for usage in month of Jan. I also received a confirmation from Tikona accepting my account termination. However nobody came to collect the wireless router.
After that, i have been receiving monthly bills form Tikona and each month i keep replying to them that i do not owe you any money. Moreover the call center people just don't seem to understand the problem and keep repeating that i need to pay the amount.
Now i am receiving calls from your collection team posing as high court judges pretending to send me a summon for payment of Rs 2000.
I have already filed a complaint against Tikona for trying to extort money out of me even when i have ceased to use your services. I have also complained against Tikona employees impersonating as judicial officers to threaten its customers.
I would like a written assurance fro your company that this nuisance stops immediately. I want written document stating i have cleared all my bills. I have all the written email evidence to show that i have requested you a number of times to terminate the connection, but you keep sending me e-bills each month.
Almost all consumer complaint forums have a similar story on Tikona and i now believe that this has become a business model for your company to harass and threaten people to pay up money for services they are no longer using. This needs to stop or your brand will be soon reduced to a petty scam. Was this information helpful? |
