[Resolved] Tikona — Incorrect / Inaccurate / False billing | |||
Hello Team, I am very disappointed by the way Tikona treats its customers. Let me describe the whole incident. I took this connection and used it for 6 months. After 6 months i decided to close / cancel this connection, as I was getting a better plan on a cheaper rates with good speed. I called up the customer care and gave a request to cancel the connection. I was transferred to a senior engineer who convinced me to not to cancel the connection but to temporarily keep it on hold / suspended on a daily charge of 3 rupees per day for 90 days / 3 months, so that if later I decide to use Tikona again, it will be easier to re-enable the connection. 2 weeks back I got a bill of 1400 rupees and when I called the customer care to confirm as to why I was billed 1400 rupees, they informed that the connection got activated after 30 days (instead of 90 days) and hence billed for the same. They took the complaint and I got a waiver of 700 rupees. I fail to understand that as per 3 rupees per day i should be billed 300 rupees and not more than that as the usage is 0kb. I am not going to pay any amount more than what I am supposed to pay and I am ready to make the payment of 300 rupees. I also gave a request to cancel the connection, for which I have not received any update yet, where it was supposed to be cancelled in 4 hours. Kindly look into the matter seriously and revert back to this email as soon as possible to avoid me taking this up the escalation level. Lastly some lawyer calls me and tells me failing to pay the bill he will put a case against me in the court.
I dont know what Tikona was trying to do with customers.
If we ask them to disconnect the service they come up with all BS reasons which are not acceptable at all.
Please take this matter seriously and revert at the earliest.
