[Resolved]  Tikona — Incorrect / Inaccurate / False billing

Hello Team,

I am very disappointed by the way Tikona treats its customers.

Let me describe the whole incident. I took this connection and used it for 6 months. After 6 months i decided to close / cancel this connection, as I was getting a better plan on a cheaper rates with good speed. I called up the customer care and gave a request to cancel the connection. I was transferred to a senior engineer who convinced me to not to cancel the connection but to temporarily keep it on hold / suspended on a daily charge of 3 rupees per day for 90 days / 3 months, so that if later I decide to use Tikona again, it will be easier to re-enable the connection.

2 weeks back I got a bill of 1400 rupees and when I called the customer care to confirm as to why I was billed 1400 rupees, they informed that the connection got activated after 30 days (instead of 90 days) and hence billed for the same. They took the complaint and I got a waiver of 700 rupees.

I fail to understand that as per 3 rupees per day i should be billed 300 rupees and not more than that as the usage is 0kb. I am not going to pay any amount more than what I am supposed to pay and I am ready to make the payment of 300 rupees.

I also gave a request to cancel the connection, for which I have not received any update yet, where it was supposed to be cancelled in 4 hours.

Kindly look into the matter seriously and revert back to this email as soon as possible to avoid me taking this up the escalation level.

I had a Tikona connection in Bangalore which was disconnected in August 2016.

I have received call today from Tikona Digital Networks Pvt.Ltd. Advocate (Nidhi Sharma) (MOBILE NO-[protected]) of Delhi Civil Court of filing a case against me for not paying false bill received from Tikona. She said if i do not make the payment within 1 hour she will put up the case and i will have to come to Delhi along with my lawyer to fight the case.

After 1 hour, i got a call again from same number and Nidhi Sharma provided me with my court case # Bmcvlc8802/2017.

The connection was taken in Bangalore, how come the case is in Delhi?

@Tikona official: Could you guys please take a look into this.

Same case happen with me in Mumbai when I told them to disconnect my connection. They ask me to pay the bill which I did and then over phone they told your request for disconnect has been taken... Still every month I used to get calls from them for payment for bill 2000k for internet which I did not used for almost 6 months.
Lastly some lawyer calls me and tells me failing to pay the bill he will put a case against me in the court.

I dont know what Tikona was trying to do with customers.

If we ask them to disconnect the service they come up with all BS reasons which are not acceptable at all.

Please take this matter seriously and revert at the earliest.

If required I can share my user id too.

Then register complaint again them online with department of telecommunication
