Hi - my dad shrikant kulkarni passed away (Died) on sep 02, 2018. Immediately after his death i called the next day i called and told him the tragedy in the family and requested them to disconnect the service for account[protected]. They first tried to convince me to keep the account but i told them that it was only my dad staying there and was using so the account is no longer needed. They agreed on the phone to disconnect but did not do it. Also had sent emails from my personal email id as i did not have access to my fathers account. I made several calls to them using the registered phone. They did not pay any attention to that. I got my father's laptop and saw that he was logged into his gmail account so sent email to disconnect the account. After multiple follow ups they disconnected the account but asked me to pay rs 683 which i did not agree as it was their mistake they did not disconnect on time. I have since then been receiving multiple calls/emails and literally harassing me for the same. Today got call from someone on the phone claiming to be companies lawyer and asked me to pay or the case is going in delhi court and my father's and all relatives pan, aadhar will be blacklisted. I will have to come to delhi for that. Other option is to pay the money. I gave him the background but all he was interested to get the money. Tikona should take these complaints seriously and stop this harassment. My father never had any outstanding, always had paid all his bills on time. It is so ridiculous that company like tikona has no principles. The person has already passed away and now his relatives are being harassed and threated to sue that too in delhi court where as the registered office is in mumbai. Please stop this and gain trust of the customer by providing good service. Understand customer issues and respond on time and don't let your staff mistake be mistake of customer and asking them to pay for the same.
