Tikona — Tikona is not disconnecting my connection. | |||||
I have been a customer of Tikona Broadband from year 2017. My user ID is [protected]. Recently, I have informed Tikona Broadband company to discontinue my connection. I have sent email to Tikona Broadband on mail id :[protected]@tikona.in, in this regard first on 6th July 2021 and then on 14th July 2021 to stop my services and present final bill to clear all dues. I had specified that not retention calls or mails will be entertained, yet the company is continuously calling me offering new plans, which I have no intention o[censored]sing. My billing cycle is ending on 22nd July and since it is a postpaid connection, I want to immediately terminate the connection. The company is not obliging and it seems their intention to charge me for billing even after 22nd July 2021.. I have already informed them to acknowledge my disconnection request and collect their equipment and present the final bill . There has been nil progress on my request. I have stop using services of Tikona Broad band from 3rd July 2021. I have to raise complaint on this forum, since I am not getting any sensible response from the company and they are wasting my time. Was this information helpful? | |||||

I had received email from Tikona on 2.08.2021, but there are certain discrepancies in the email.
It is stated that Tikona will stop charging rental from 6 th June 2022. I wish to state that the year is 2021 and not 2022. This means that Tikona will still charge me rental from 6 th June 2021 to 6th june 2022.This is not acceptable, as I am not using the services any more, why should I pay for services for one year, which I am not using?
I have already disconnected the power supply to equipment of Tikona and therefore there is no chance of any accidental use of the services.
As Tikona has already stated, there are no outstanding dues on my behalf.
I have again requested Tikona to kindly send their representative to collect their equipment from my premises . I have also ask the company & its executive not to call /email me for retention or any other proceedings.
I have still not received any meaningful communication from Tikona about my complaint. I strongly suspect that Tikona is trying to dupe me, by planning to charge me rental for the equipment which I have repeatedly insisted to collect from my home. Why it is so difficult to understand by Tikona that I want to terminate my broadband connection service.
I am enclosing the copy of the cunning crafted email sent by Tikona.
I wish to resolve this matter immediately.
