"With reference to your request number 1-[protected] dated : 24/September/2020 for your Tikona user id: [protected] .
We would like to inform you that we will stop charging you rentals for the service from 25/February/2021 .
As being our valuable customer we are attaching 10GB on your account with effective from 25/February/2021 with no validity and no charge for this 10GB. You may continue to use even post 10GB and at 2paise/MB with 4Mbps speed. "
First they have rejected my disconnection request (In gross violation to TRAI rules) and will keep charging me for the connection
Also post Feb also they will not disconnect and will raising their fake bills
Now I am convinced that Trikona is nothing more than a scam and I am so angry with myself as to why did I get into this
Anyways my in-law is a lawyer and based on his recommendation I am going ahead with filing a case in Jaipur District consumer forum as according to him Tikona did a blunder by sending such an email. Will also seek compensation for mental harassment they have caused

Updated by Tanuj kashyap Again got a email from tikona that you tried to reach me and and was not able to I will again reiterate I did not receive any calls so please stop making these studip excuses and playing these dirty tricks on me so many emails I have sent for the disconnection and shamelessly you either ignore them or you make make such stupid excuses
Would like to reiterate that my immediate disconnection request is still pending and nothing other than immediate termination of connection/NOC for account closure is acceptable to me
Also a legal notice has been sent to Tikona by my lawyer and has been received by Tikona last week.
As mentioned in legal notice will wait for days for your response and response from Appellate authority after that I will file a case in consumer court and TIkona will be responsible for all the legal expenses
Also will be filing a FIR in the nearest police station that an internet connection is being kept active against my will and as I may not be at the location after some time Tikona shall be solely responsible for any misuse/illegal attributed to this connection (shall share the FIR number shortly)
Rest assured that if not resolved I will move to the court and will seek all available legal remedies
I have all call recordings from your customer care where you have been suggesting that they cannot close the connection

Sir/ Madam,
The Appellate Authority has conducted an inquiry based on your appeal docket number 1-[protected], with the service provider, in line with the Telecom Consumers Complaint Redressal Regulations, 2012 issued by TRAI dated 5th January, 2012.
In this connection the Appellate Authority would like to state that the service provider has addressed the Disconnection related complaint and same has been mail communicated to you on your registered Email ID on dated 10/2/2020 11:40:46 AM.
The service provider has acted in accordance with the TRAI regulations by responding to issues encountered by the complainant and has closed the complaint.
With the aforesaid decision this appeal stands closed.

Here is the request I sent on 21st Sep
"To Whomsoever it may concern

This is a request to terminate my Tikona broadband connection immediately (With effect from 21/09/2020)
Due to personal reasons, I do not require a Tikona broadband connection anymore and hence request immediate disconnection.
I have already switched off the equipment and am no longer using the service.
Also please send a Tikona representative to collect the equipment (wifi modem + terrace equipment) and issue a collection slip
I have paid 6011 Rs advance for 6 months on 14th Sep 2020 for plan TURBO_ULHC8 so please process my refund also(if any).
Also, I ask the company and its executives not to call/email me for retention or any other proceedings.
Tikona and its representatives acknowledge that if no confirmation email reply is received to this email within 2 days (with disconnection date), the disconnection request will be considered accepted.
Also keeping [protected]@trai.gov.in in cc in case government record is required

Now tell me what has been processed ? Where is the disconnection date ? where is the final settlement ?
Just saying we will stop raising the rental after 6 months is this termination ? and saying that connection will continue after that is this termination ?
Would you let me know how you reached this conclusion ? or you want to say that Tikona has its own set of rules
"Bottom line is I requested for a connection termination on 21st Sep and after 1 month also connection is active"
And my request for connection termination dated 21st Sep is still pending
A legal notice has already been sent and will move to consumer court shortly
Appeal authority is supposed to be impartial and take decision based on TRAI regulations but then what else you will except from Tikona

Also I raised the disconnection request on 21 sep and its been almost 9 days (more than 7 days mandated by TRAI for disconnection request) so as Tikona customer care is not able to process my request I have escalated it to the Tikona Appeal ([email protected]) as mandated by TRAI but from them also I am awaiting a resolution docket no 1-8852669987
I will reiterate my that my disconnection request dated 21st Sep is still pending and request you to process it immediately and close my account.
Moreover bill dated 25th Sep from Tikona clearly shows that all my dues are already cleared till Feb 20201 and even their is a refund from Tikona so I don't know why you are not processing this simple disconnection request
