[Resolved]  Tikona — unethical billing practices

I am receiving calls from advocate claiming of a civil action against me for non payment. I raised a cancellation on the account and as per my conversation, i was asked to pay 950 as closure charges on 2/17, which i paid online.

I am not sure why tikona billed me for a suspended connection and now the amount is 1802.81.

Please go through the records again, as i have already raised an issue on the same in the past against tikona. They cannot harass a customer after 2 years of suspension of services.

If tikona was so interested in their customers, why was this brought to our notice today after 2 years.

We had requested for cancellation in dec, even then we got the bill in jan. after speaking with multiple supervisors and managers we were told to pay 950 as full and final settlement. We made that payment and what company gets back after 2 years for pending payment??? Shouldn’t you have called or intimated before and not after 2 years if there were any pending dues.

As per our conversation( unfortunately we didn’t receive any email from your customer service confirming that’s the full and final settlement amount, as your customer service is so damn pathetic) with floor managers and second level of escalations some person named Vishal had told us to make the payment of 950, our monthly rental was 800, even then we made the payment of 950 and it was supposed to be done. Your technician came to our home and we returned the device and everything. Not sure how else were we supposed to know that full and final settlement is done.

And now you are saying after 2 years there is a payment pending, for what months and from where????? I am not willing to make any payment as per my conversations with your customer service this should not have happened at all. And your representative also advised to write to Tikona care and said it seems you are charged even after the cancellation request and there should not be any outstanding( this is conversation from yesterday,[protected] and the amount should be waived off.

Do the needful asap.
