[Resolved] Tikona — wrong billing and refusal to close connection despite multiple requests | |||
Hi, My name is shakti sarangi and i was a customer of tikona broadband. I was using their wifi service and was paying almost 800 rupees a month. Post purchasing a jiofi device, paying so much for internet did not make sense and i requested tikona for closure of connection. They refused to close the connection despite multiple requests and continued to charge me. Finally after multiple requests they de-activated the plan but did not close the account and i was billed again. I refused to pay post which i was threatened by them of legal action. I disconnected the modem and the device completely and stopped interacting with them. 3 months later i got a notice from an advocate threatening me to file a case in court post which i paid 500 rupees more. They literally extorted money from me. They have still not closed my account and though i am not getting any bills they are sending me messages threatening me to close my account, a request which i made ages ago.
