This refers to my above email a few weeks back regarding the subscription of Times daily. I have been getting my subscription from January 22ndat my new address in Thane. But to my surprise the vendor is asking for delivery charges as against the promise to us at the time of subscription. As per the subscription, when a customer subscribes to the newspaper, its delivery at home and not at your delivery centre. Hence I am not ready to pay a single penny for delivery charges as you have not notified at the time of subscription. Also please note that your company representatives, to whom all I spoke 1) Mr. Praful Chikane, and his Sr, (he mentioned, when I asked for escalation) Mr. Rohid Das Pillai, both are hand in gloves with the vendors, (and justifying the delivery charges for their own reasons). But this is totally against the consumer rules, and will be going ahead with my case under consumer protection act, whatever the time it takes. All these years of subscription about 8 years no vendor has charged delivery charges, .I am totally astonished at the fact that Famous Print Media (TOI)who pretends to fight for the right of the Nation against all the wrong things, itself is taking the customers for granted when it comes to their own business. I am a fighter for these sort o[censored]nethical means and fight till the end.From yesterday onwards(i.e from 4th of Feb 2021) I am not getting my daily. Moreover I started getting my Times subscription only from 22nd Jan2021 after shifting to my new place. Also wish to intimate you that from the time I renewed my subscription in 2010-20, I did not get any paper from March 22nd 2020 till sept 2020 due to a Pandemic issue in my Santacruz East address. Again we shifted to Thane and asked for transfer from Santacruz to Thane by informing your CRM phone, but we got our News daily only from 22 Jan 2021. As per me TOI do not have any customer ideology once the money comes to your Kit. Also I request you to kindly send me the escalation process of the complaint, If not I got my own ways to get to the Highest post and get it done.Now the solution is to refund the subscription money for all the period which you have not supplied or change the vendor and supply the newspaper with extension of the period which you have not supplied.Awaiting for an early reply.
