[Resolved] Titan — charged gst of 28% for watch after tax revision

My wife bought a titan fasttrack watch on nov 15, 2017 for rs. 3095. This is inclusive of tax.
The tax split up is
Product price - 2417
Cgst - 14% - 339
Sgst - 14% - 339

The gst rate for watch as on date is 18%. But i was charged 28%. When i visited the outlet to ask about it, their response was that the software wasn't updated and even after the software update the price i would pay would be same as they would increase the product rate.

So, even if the govt. Reduces the tax, we end up having to pay the same amount regardless. What a sad state of world!

During the conversation with store outlet, the manager was not polite and she kept mocked me. Her statements were like...
"why did you buy the watch if you are such a genius..."
"why don't you understand. You are aged 30 and you should understand this."
"why don't you leave the store, i've got customers waiting."
"(To another person) he is going the save the world..."
"this is a tata store, we don't cheat"
