[Resolved]  Titan Company — titan eye plus: wrong eye prescription number given

I went to Titan Eye Plus Noida Sector 18 branch for buying a new pair of Prescription eye glasses. They checked my eye sight and showed me various designs for the frames. The person checking the eye sight was not a qualified doctor, not even trained. He was the counter salesman who was also the part-time eye doctor. Naturally, he got the number wrong (I have cylindrical vision and he got it totally wrong). After a week, the glasses were delivered. I started wearing them and in a week, I started having severe headache and pain in my eyes. I went to an ophthalmologist (eye doctor) and after due examination of my eyes and glasses, he told me that the number in the glasses was wrong.
My actual number was:
Right Eye
SPH: -4.00 ; CYL: -0.50 ; AXIS: 20 degrees
Left Eye
SPH: -4.50 ; CYL: -0.75 ; AXIS: 160 degrees

What Titan Eye Plus diagnosed:
Right Eye
SPH: -4.00 ; CYL: -0.50 ; AXIS: 90 degrees
Left Eye
SPH: -4.50 ; CYL: -0.50 ; AXIS: 170 degrees

I had severe headaches and had to go to another doctor to get my eyes checked.

My complaint being that TITAN EYE PLUS should either keep QUALIFIED DOCTORS who can check patient’s eyes or simply tell people that they are only good for glasses and frames and not eye check-up. They are in a job in which they are responsible for people’s vision and they cannot get it ALMOST right. They have to get it ABSOLUTELY right ALL THE TIME.
