Toplite Holidays — Scam - not providing services what they offered

Me and my wife were in Goa where we got caught in a scam of Toplite Holidays Private Limited Company in April, 2022.

We were coming out of KFC, on the way we were stopped by the company hired man, they have given us two coupon from different pocket and told company is giving free vacation on their anniversary.

We got caught in his trap and went to the hotel Neelams the Grand, Goa. One of their condition was that they would scratch the card after we walk around the hotel and Know about their membership. We went to the hotel and then they took us to a room where a lady explained to us about the places to visit around the world, then showed us some pictures of couples traveling to different places across the world through this subscription. We decided to take the plan, we found this plan easy and affordable as it covers both national and international tours.

We were promised that they only give 4*, 5* hotel bookings, and some yearly membership fee of 9k is charged, and nothing more. We decided to take an 10 years plan which was of 76K.
As I didn't had a balance in my bank account, I did the payment with the credit card. Also, they took the signature in the agreement in haste and telling us its all what we have mentioned to you. that's why we have signed, and now they are denying on all things what they have promised.

After few months, we saw the rating in the internet and then we got to know that we are part of the scam. Still this 2 years we thought we have paid and we should take services. I called them multiple times and its out of reach and then on alternate number which was picked after so many calls. The reservation lady told us to mail about Kerala trip and she has given list of hotels which are mainly 2* and 3* hotels.

Now last week I mailed them about to give me availability for any 4* and 5* resort/hotel in Coorg for two rooms. As the sales person told us that we have 7 days for two years and we can use them for one trip with multiple rooms and claim at the same time. Now, the reservation lady is telling we have to pay for extra room on bonus charges as it is written on agreement. When I told about what sales representative told us she told me, " I don't know what they have said but it is clearly written in the agreement and when I shown my disagreement by saying, " that I am asking for what I have paid" she cut the call rudely and now not even picking up the call.

When asked about the rooms in Coorg, she is telling we can give hotel availability based on dates. I asked you give us the date based on the availability which she is telling is not the company policy.

And since last 1 month when we are trying to book/reserve hotels on multiple occasion over the period of 2 years they either-
1. No response till 1 week time
2. Mobile number not reachable given at website
3. 2 and 3 star hotels are given

The way the company representative is treating and behaving for the paid services and also not providing what they have promised. We want to cancel our membership and want our money back.

Requesting sir to please look into this matter as we know we got ourselves into this scam. If you take proper action, no other people will get scammed for the same reason. The amount of stress, anxiety this company is creating to consumer will also be avoided.

I humbly request to Indian government & Tourism Ministry of GOA(they told us their head office is in goa) please look into the matter and ask this company to return the payments.

Dear madam,

Please be appropriate in telling the details instead of false allegations. You have not provided me details of any resort which was asked last month. Instead, you have mailed me telling to remove the complaint then only we will provide the resort details. There is no certainty that if I remove the complaint you will provide me the services which were promised. Also, it depends on what kind of hotels you provide which is largely 2 start and 3 star and on top of that as your company policy states you need 9K as yearly maintenance fees for the services which are not been availed and provided.

None of you from the team has tried calling and resolving it instead you people are torturing by saying if you don't take the complaint back we won't give the services for the money which we have paid.

Requesting Tourism ministry of Goa to see in this matter and resolve it as the earliest. I won't leave this matter until it is resolved and will try to put a complaint directly to government of India.
