[Resolved] Toplite Holidays — Urgent Action Required: Harassment by Toplite Holidays Pvt. Ltd. - I WANT REFUND AND COMPENSATION
My name is Prashanth. My wife and I visited the Havelock Island on Sep 4, 2022. We got caught in a scam by Toplite Holidays Private Limited on the same day.
We were going to the Radhanagar beach, on the way we were stopped by a person who offered us coupons. He took us to a place where an orientation was happening.
We got caught in this trap and went to the hotel TSG Blue resort and Spa. We were taken to a hall where Sarthak and Salman convinced us to buy the subscription, then showed us contracts and some pictures of couples traveling to different places across the world through this subscription. We decided to take the plan since we were promised exceptional and timely services.
We were promised that they will provide 4*, 5* hotel bookings, and we were also promised that the AMC would be waived off. We decided to take an 25 years plan which was of 5.58L.
We were continuously persuaded to take this service by Sarthak ([protected] / [protected]) and by his Manager Salman ([protected] / [protected]). We had made a payment of INR 3, 58, 000 on the same day in Andaman, and the balance payment was split and made on Nov 23 and Nov 24 respectively, to Salman's account. We won 2 Goa coupons (2 * 2N/3D). Salman had promised to give us a complete 3N / 4D Goa package incl of Flights.
We had communicated that we were planning for a Goa trip from Dec 24 - Dec 27 (3N / 4D), as promised by Salman while opting for this service. We had communicated this on Nov 24 (a month before). Until the payment was made, Salman kept calling and following up with me continuously, and vanished after the payment was made. There was absolutely no proper update despite so many calls and follow ups. He wasn't even bothered to call us back and update whether the trip was possible or not.
Moreover, we haven't even received the receipt for the balance payment that was made. IF YOU WERE ME, AND IF YOU WERE PROMISED A GOOD HOLIDAY SEASON, WILL YOU ACCEPT THIS KIND OF A PATHETIC RESPONSE / SERVICE? Because of this, we have not been able to plan anything, and we blindly kept believing that there will be an update from their end!!! I have recorded calls and WhatsApp conversations with Salman, where post the payment, he was least bothered to even call me back, or even send an appropriate response.
I spoke to Siddhi from Customer Care, and the only response was to initiate an email. We wanted a booking in Pondicherry, on the 30th of July, and the communication was sent more than a week before. They offered us a 3-star property and even after repeated back and forth, they just responded saying they don't work on Saturdays and Sundays. We are now being asked to make a payment of Rs 21, 240 for my forst booking. On what trust will I keep poring in money, despite they promising me that there will be no AMC / hidden charges?
I have all the proofs, conversations, mails and calls. I feel exhausted dealing with them, and I I don't want to go through any more mental torture.
We want the complete refund of 5.58L and compensation for the pathetic service that was given to us. We seek assistance, help in any form to make us feel better. It's a humble, a kind, and a sincere request.
