Hi this is regarding the bad and worst service provided to the customers at Total mall in Madivalla in Bangalore. This is the bad experience I have faced on 16th August 2015 at evening around 8 PM. I along with my friend had visited total mall for some groceries and as part of the groceries I have purchased the fryums items and there is offer on the particular selected fryums i.s as buy 1 get 1. So I have taken 2 packs. I was shocked to see that the discount is not applicable on the bill, so i have enquired with the cashier on the till whether the discount is applicable on my bill ? The cashier by looking at the receipt and the system he confirmed that the discount has been given on the item. And to my surprise i was really shocked to see that the discount is not applicable and i do not why is the cashier saying lie to me regarding this. He says that the discount is given. But the has charged for the 2 items without the discount. I have just went to the Help Desk and there i see no body really assisting and finally some person from the help desk says to just return the money from the cahier. I said that there should be a procedure to this as they have to take complaint from the customer. I had word with the senior sales person (Nethra) who had just come to me after 30 mins waiting at the help desk. The word he said is we are sorry and i have been waiting for 1hr 30 mins at the customer service . The only word the person would say is we are sorry. It’s not the matter of money it it’s more of the service to the customer than i have asked the person to take up the complaint in the book. Then i have written the complaint they said that the higher officials will be calling but they never called back. They are least bothered with the customer complaints. Then what is exactly the use of the customer complaints if it is not being resolved. The person Nethra says that the staff have not been trained properly. This is said by the senior staff saying the staff are not being trained, if this is the scenario then how about all the customers like me who would be suffering with the poor service and un expected bills. The senior staff says that the discount is not reflecting in the system, if this is the case then he is sure that many of the customers around 1000 customers the discount would not be applicable as the discount it self is not reflecting in the system. As a whole there is defect in the system and the service. I am sure many of many customers like me would have faced with this problem. The offers seems to be good but please do be careful with the bill as you be shoked to see that the discounts would not be reflected in the bill and you need to pay more. Please do not get fooled with the discounts or offers as you might end at paying high than the discounted price. I could find this as i purchased only around 10 items, but how about the other customers who purchase around 50 to 100 items will they be checking all the items whether the discount is given on all of the products as applicable . That’s really difficult the customers are trusting the retailers. Finally this is what i have faced and i just want to get to the notice of other 1000’s of customers. I could find out this because i have less items and i know about them, but how about the unknown customer who might not be aware of the discount times where it is deducted in the bill. I request the higher officials to get back to me as to resolve my issue. And finally i haven’t taken the discounted price that i have been charged extra. Regards, Praveen, +91 [protected].
