Trai — airtel deficient network | |||
I was using the reliance number [protected]. when Rcom wound up i got the number port to airtel and the services became active on 24th nov, 2017. However, since then I have not been able to use the services of airtel despite having paid all my bills. First the number was not reachable most of the time. If I got any call I could not pick the call as the set would hang, which problem I never faced with Relaince. If I could pick the call the person on the other side could not hear me. I made several complaints with airtel in this regard. I had also visited their Green park New Delhi outlet where I was told to even change my mobile which seemed to me to be utterly illogical. They even got the sim changed but no relief. The airtel personnel would call me on my complaints and they too got first hand experience of my problem as either my number was not reachable or they could not hear me. The would send an email to me stating that they tried to contact me then I gave my alternate number. Finally I could get in touch with airtel on my alternate vodafone number. This continued till May, 2018 when I finally decided I am not going to pay any more as I had not been able to avail the services so far. hence, I did not pay the last two pending bills, one that was due in May and the other that was due in June.Finally today on 12th June, 2018 I got a call from [protected] where a lady assured me that the services issue would be resolved and requested me to clear the last two pending bills. Thus, today, on 12th June 2018 I made the payment of Rs 825.00 against the last two outstanding bills at around 1 p.m or so. However, even after making the payment the services were not active till about 3 p.m. Thus, I made a call on [protected] where I was informed that I must rest the sim card and switch on my mobile once again. I did as I was instructed. However, services were not activated yet. Thereafter I called again the aforesaid number [protected] where the same lady picked and she said it will take some more time. This irritated me and I asked her how long am I supposed to wait. The lady then banged the phone. I feel this was a ploy to by airtel through some collection agency to only realize the outstanding dues. Airtel is not concerned with providing services and is only extracting money. I had also requested Airtel to refund my earlier payments as they have enriched themselves unjustly because I have not been able to avail their services. Airtel is guilty of deficient services, malpractices by making false assurances to its customers and only extracting money. Kindly look into the issue and take necessary action.
