I was pearched the two air line ticket from travel chacha .com for hydrabad and afterword i was cancelled the ticket.After crossing two month also they are not refond the money. i was requesting nearlly 12 times but no effect.please do somthing for me.Thanking you

I had booked airlines tickets online from travelchacha.com in the month of Aug 2011.Due to some reasons I cancelled the tickets on the 1st of sep 2011. I was sent a mail by the airlines that the refund would be credited in the a/c within 25-30 working days. However even with repeated phones calls to their executive over phone, the refund has not taken place. I am always told it is under process. How much more time is needed as it is well beyond the stipulated time. please help.

I have booked a ticket for Lucknow-Pune on travelchacha.com after paying Rs.4374 by credit card online on 28th Aug 2010.
But i have not received my ticket and on calling customer care i
came to know that by Sep 10they will be providing my ticket. Since, i cannot wait
that long so i have asked for a refund.

They said they will be processing refunds after 10-15 days.
I waited and waited but refund never came. I called their customer care many many times, but they keep on postponing and always giving lame excuses. 70% of the time they just cut the phone after i asked for a refund.

Now it has been almost an year but my refund never came.

Please help me.

My name is Gaurav Bajoria. I am working with Axis Bank Ltd. I have booked my ticket with Travel Chacha from the website. Due to personal reason my trip got cancelled. I called up at the std number of Travel Chacha which is Delhi based as they were not picking up the call of the toll free no. for cancellation of the ticket. After a long waiting on the call they informed that they are not authorized to accept the cancellation of the ticket. I called up the concerned airlines for cancellation on 01st July 2011 they did the same and said that the refund amount I will be receiving through travel chachacha. I again called them to find out that when I will be receiving the same amount. They said that they are going to deduct Rs. 250 as a service charge for the cancellation. I asked for what as they have done nothing for cancellation of my ticket. They did not had the proper answer. They said I will get my amount within 25-30 days. I have not received my amount till now. Whenever I call them for the follow up they put me on the hold. There their refund department concerned person Mr. Indrajeet says it will be done today. From last 15-20 days they are doing the same. I am telling them that I will go to the consumer forum but still they are not ready to give the response.
Below my mail there is a communication between me and Travelchacha. Because of this I had a problem in paying the amount to my Axis Bank credit card. Secondly I am spending an amount on the STD but they are not responding.

Kindly look into the matter.

I have not received any mail from your side. You and your staff is always confirming but there is no reply from my side. I have only small amount to claim from you but almost I have spent 500 - 600 rupee for the continous follow up for my refund and I have not received the same. This is the second and third time I am facing this problem.. I called for the cancellation but your people said we dont do the cancellation. On the basis of that I have called fIndigo for cancellation. Latter on I came to know Travel chacha will be refunding the money after deducting the charges Rs. 250.

I dont know for what they are going to deduct when they have not provided any services in refund. Infact they have enjoyed a float on my money as well as I have lost 500-600 rupees on telephone to travel chacha. Portal has given so much pain to me.

I am going to file a suit against travel chacha in consumer forum as well as going to sent a mail to IATA to take an action against your company.

I dont understand why the cancellation amount is not credited to my credit card account tiill now. Who the hell will be responsible for the late payment fees. First of all the realisation of the cancellation amount does not take so much time. Your company enjoy the float on the publick money and till the time we dont sent the reminders you dont credit to our account.

This is the second time which is happening with me and I am thinking to sent the copy of both the mail along with my credit card statment to IATA which should take a proper action against it.

We Shree Tours And Travels Doing Business OF Air Tickets Booking In Ahmedabad,Gujarat.Before 7 Months We had got a call from TravelChaCha Ms.Vipasha was on other side and gave us lucrative offer for joined their company as an Agent after a week we had joined TravelChacha in B2B Portal as an Agent for Online Air Tickets Booking and deposited Rs.100,000/- as in their account for booking tickets.Then our problem begins and our life become hectic to doing work with this type of company,in a week very difficult situation we able to book only 20,000/-Rs.Tickets,And then they closed their B2B portal,we ask for refund but they told we will starts this portal within short time, after 1 Month again we had talk with Ms. Vipasha,Mr. Premkumar & Mr.Dharmendra they told we are not going to start it,this time we asked him again for refund and we mailed company lots of time and try to call them thousands of time but result is only and only No Reply.

After that at once they told they are going to refund this money by cheque, we answered its ok then send us the cheque,after one more month in July ending they send 3 Post Dated cheques for 6 November,13November & 26 November.We requested them for current date chequebut Mr. Premkumar,Ms. Vipasha & Ms.Bhuvneshvari told we want to clear this cheques and this time we don't have sufficient balance so please keep cheques for November Month,at that time surely it will cleared.now in November Month I deposited that cheque in my bank account and bounced because of Insufficient Fund in their account.Now they told wait for one more month but how can I trust on them after this type of commitment failures? I am going to file a case Against them in Negotiable Instruments Acts Section 138,Indian Penal Code 419 & 420.

Then I want to ask all my well wisher, is there any other way to recover this money??? And If any one faced problem like me, and want to file case against them then mail me on my id.

This is hereby to inform you that despite regularly in touch with costumer care of Travelchacha on[protected] for six days (24th july 2010 to 29th july 2010), i didn't get booking confirmation from Travelchacha.com and hence i had to cancel my my outgoing journey. After that on asking for cancellation on 31st one Travelchacha.com representative Ms. Kamaljeet kaur told me that she discussed with her seniors and they are refunding full amount in next two days.

But again on 2nd Aug i was informed that Rs. 1000/- will be deducted from my amount stating that my ticket was confirm. Since before canceling my outgoing ticket i repeatedly asked them about booking status and every single day i was told that by evening i'll get my ticket, i request you get me full amount within two days otherwise a compensation for full trip of eight days Rs. 20000/-.

I had booked tickets from travelchacha. After a month I got to know that my tickets were not confirmed even though amount was deducted immediately. I dont know how is this possible when they display the flight and deduct amount from cards. Even after more than a month the amount is not refunded. The customer service never picks up, no reply to emails and even when they do it is said it will be looked after, refunded in 7 days etc etc.

Definitely very very disappointed and want to let every body know that its better to pay higher amount and goto established travel agents and stay away from companies like travelchacha. This has given me a good lesson and would never book with them again and also let everybody know about it.

Poor customer service???, I would say no SERVICE at all.

It is my fate that Google search resulted this travel agent in search for a low price airline ticket.. I booked a ticket 20 days in advance, their system generated a temp PNR number which was not a valid one and I came to know that after checking with the respective airline. Everytime when I called them, either I got a reply, that my booking is under process, and will be confirmed within 48 hours or due to technical problems, they couldn`t confirm it. But for sure, they will confirm it, ONLY a day before the journey date and ONLY if you call them and keep on reminding them irrespective that you book a ticket a month advance. Seriously, I don`t know the trick behind it. Believe it or not, I would have called them nearly 40 to 50 times. Everytime, when you call them, you can`t talk to the same person you spoke already, you would get a standard reply that the person is no longer with them.

Due to some reasons, I had to cancel one of the booking. When I called them at 7:30 in the morning to cancel it and my flight time was around 10 am, I was told to contact after 10 am as the staff will login at 10 am...(!!!!!) I had to call the airlines and cancel it... but trust me, it was not so easy to do.... as the ticket was booked under different agent name and not by TRAVEL CHACHA. Finally I managed to cancel it. After 2 weeks of following with Travel Chacha, I got a reply that my ticket is still active in their system and I need to send a mail to cancel which was so pathetic.

They would say, after 20-21 days, the amount will be refunded. They were keep on saying this for 2 months. I had to call them every alternate day. But finally my amount was refunded back after serious struggles. Also there was a difference, the amount told and the money refunded. My serious advise, do not use their service.

I was really frustrated and lost my peace.

on 2/9/2010 i purchased 2 online air tickets from travel chacha i.e. bangalore to delhi and delhi to bangalore i got bangalore -delhi ticket but not delhi- bangalore, after enquiring they said that they have not received the payment for ticket , so i had to buy ticket at higher prices from another travel agent, but when i received my credit card statement it notified that the payment had been received by the agent, after that despite of several reminders through email they never responded even a single mail, in their acknowledgement mail though they acknowledge the receipt of the payment but now i am struggling to contact them

I Agree Travel Chacha is doing cheating. I booked my ticket on 26th July and got confirmation mail including Booking ID. Now after 1.5 months (19th Sep) they are saying that Booking is not confirmed due to non payment from my side/bank. I got it confirmed from my bank that payment was done on 30th July ( i.e. th merchant TravelChacha has claimed the money) . It is possible that they might have given my bookings to someone else.

I have booked returned flight ticket from TravelChaCha.com in Spicejet form Pune to Delhi and back Delhi to Pune on 11-Aug-2010 for Travel Dt: 26-Aug-2010 with TravelChaCha Ref ID: ANQKGL, ANQJHO respective amount Rs.7386 and Rs.6284. I waited for tickets till 23-Aug-2010, but didn't received any, so I postponed my journey to 29 Aug and booked ticket from Yatra.

I got a call from them on 24 Aug for my booking in Indigo Flight, I asked them to refund the money as they didn't make the booking in desired Airline. The girl from TravelChaCha assured me that total money will refunded in 48 hours and will be credited to my credit card, also I will be receiving email from them regarding the refund.

I haven't received any email from them till date and even they are not responding to my emails. I tried to reach on them from customer nos. [protected],[protected], still no response.

I feel like cheated as customer support is bad. It seems TravelChaCha doesn't follow any online business ethics.

I strongly appeal to leading Bank gateways like SBI/CITI/HDFC/ICICI to review the business policy of TravelChaCha website and stop such kind of online frauds.

I believe that this forum will help me to get my money back from the TravelChaCha and will help other consumers to stop using TravelChaCha fraud website.

Please note that I had cancelled my tickets from Hyderabad-Goa return on 15th July 2010 and was promised for refund within 20 days. I have been trying to follow up regularly with your customer care team on[protected] but no proper response is being given.

25 days back when I called I was informed that the refund will be credited within 3 working days. Then after 4 days they told me that wiithin 24 hours it will be credited in my account. And after 2 days after I was informed that it will take 3 more working days. And from past 1 week i have been trying to call the customer care but there is no response. Today being 7th of September about 50 days from the date of cancellation, still I have no clue about the refund. Apart from calls I have even sent them 4 emails but I have no response from their end.

This is not the kind of service I expect from a website like travelchacha.com. Please look into the matter and do the needful. Giving below are my flight details:

Hi,

I had booked my tickets on 3rd Aug, 2010 for 29 sept and 10 oct, 2010 . But the PNR numbers I got from TravelChaCha.com are fake .They are not working on Kingfisher RED Website.
The status also show “Under Process” from the day I booked tickets till now. Booking id: ANEPXV

I research their site and it seems to be fake , there are lot of complaints against their website and fake booking.
I sent them mail also but they dont reply. On their customer care, there are rarely any people sitting there and those available also keep telling you will get ticket in 2 days or 1 week but I didn't get anything till now.

I want to complaint against them as they are not replying my queries. My money got deducted and even if they return my money. I have to book tickets at higher current rates. This is exploitaton of customers.
I have attached a screenshot of my booking related info. PNR numbers are fake in it.

Both my tickets are for Navjot Singh name.

Please look into the matter.

I booked a ticket for through Trvael chacha online portal on 12th August for Mumbai - Ranchi - Mumbai ( Travel date - 10th Sep &Return on 12th Sep) . Rs. 7164 was debited against my credit card. I got a PNR - ANRIRY from the company.

When I contacted the company helpdesk I was told that Tickets will be issued "shortly" as there is an issue with website. Today is 6th Sep , but till date I have not got any ticket. Every time I called the help desk / e-mailed them, I was assured that tickets would be issued "shortly".

Today I got a call from them to inform me that the tickets had not been booked at all ! I have paid Rs. 7164, not got any refund, and not received the tickets either.

This clearly is a dubious and bogus company playing with people's money and time !

Travel chacha is a fraud and untrust site in India

I am Imran from Bangladesh, I booked a flight ticket from Travelchacha.com on 17th Aug for date 07th Sept from KOlKATA to BANGALORE using credit card. They gave me reference number (ANVSNY).

For this booking, transaction reference number is TCP[protected] and the amount id Rs 3443.

I did not receive my iteniriry but receive an email from them on next day saying they have some issues with their system and not able to deliver ticket. I contacted them over phone and again they gave the same answer, then I opted for cancellation(19 Aug). After cancellation I got email from their Manager (Guneshwori), stating that, I will get full refund of amount in 3-4 working days. Since then I am in contact with them (to contact them I have to try their phone many times) but they are not ready to give any update on refund process. Every time they have same answer, we are processing and it will take 3-4 working days and they cut the phone.
