Hi Guys,



I have collected ur ID's from different portals and I believe you all are victims of Travel Chacha. :P



I had also booked my tickets from Travel Chacha. For a change I have got something different to post.



After a lot of follow up's with them I have finally got my tickets after 25 days. Just wanna share with you all how to get your ticktes from them.



First thing is if they have not send you your tickets means that they havnt even booked you wid airlines. Same was the case with me. I called up airlines and asked them for booking with my name on my travel date. They said "No booking with this name"..



Even I called up Travel Chacha helpline.. But to no help. Just kept increasing my STD bill.. :)



There were no responses to any of the mails too.



But, then on 26th Aug I send them a mail with a Warning. I asked them to send me tickets within 24 hrs and threathened them to take them to consumer court/Cyber cell if they dont issue tickets. I also pasted a letter in that mail and told them below is the complain letter I will be mailing at consumer court if I do not get my tickets in 24 hours.



You wont believe that mail was replied within 30 mins and read as "Sir, We ensure you to process your tickets immediately."



The next day morning on 27th Aug I had received SMS that my tickets are booked. They send me a mail asking me to check tickets. To add more they even called me up to ask if I have received the tickets and if they were proper.



Its hard to belive such behaviour from Travel Chacha.



So my advise to you all is to do the same thing. Just threaten them of taking the matter to consumer court and I am sure you will have your tickets handy. I never knew consumer court forum is taken so seriously. It rocks!!



Apart from sending mails to [protected]@travelchacha.com also send them to guneshwori.[protected]@travelchacha.com who seems to be their manager or something. This person had called me and issued my tickets.

    Travelchacha.com is not a fraud company


    I have also booked a ticket from them for travel on 20th August 2010 by indigo airlines. In the initial stage i am also facing problem for getting e-tickets & i thought that i have invested my money in a wrong company.

    But within 1 or 2 days i have got my e-ticket with all essential details.

    I think that their might be some technical problem with their server, its not a fraud company.

      Its a travel portal on the internet whcih offers cheap airline tickets through online booking.I had booked 8 nos of tickets through this site on 27th July 2010 .The amount for the same was debited through my credit card as it was an online booking.I was given the booking ref but not the PNR no.I had called up at the co's customar care no in Delhi to know my PNR.They told us that due to some technical error our Tickets could not be issued but by 15th AUG the tickets will be sent via e-mail.The co failed to give the tickets and so I asked them for full refund.They mailed me on 18th Aug that refund will be processed within a short period.
      It has been past one month neither have I recd the tickets nor my refund has been granted.Whenever I call at the Customar care they keep on trf my line from one dept to another.It is a FRAUD CO it seems who attracts the customars by offering tickets at lower prices and debits the money from the account and fails to provide neither the ticket or refund when asked for.
      You are req to kindly look into the matter and arrange for full refund of my amounting tgo Rs 24104/-

        I booked a ticket on travelchacha.com web portal for travel on 30th August 2010 on Indigo airlines for me. Travelchacha deducted the full amount from my bank's a/c for the bookings but failed to send me any PNR number. I waited till 23rd Aug and then started sending them a mail about the PNR number.

        Till today I’ve not got the PNR number of the flight. I tried checking the status of the bookings from IndiGo directly and they said that they will NOT be operating this flight.

        My complaints to travelchacha are the following:

        * Junk numbers: It is impossible to reach them. I tried all their numbers and tried even their fax numbers. For the first time today I reached them at 4154 4154 and the lady said rudely that they will issue the ticket no matter what by 27th. They need to provide accurate contact numbers on their portal

        * No responses of email: All I got from them till now for 3 of my mails was sir don’t worry your ticket is confirmed we have technical issues so can’t issue your ticket right now. They need to be responsive and responsible in dealing with their customers.

        * Now I’m keeping my fingers crossed and really don’t know whether I should make alternate arrangements or wait for the tickets to confirm. They need to be transparent enough to let the customers know the reality. When IndiGo will not operate on the route how can they guarantee the e-ticket?

        I’m planning to send somebody to their office in Delhi to do the fighting on my behalf to either get the tickets or get the refund.

Travelchacha deducted the full amount from my credit card for the bookings but failed to send me any PNR number. I waited till 7th Aug and then started sending them a mail about the PNR number.
        Till today I've not got the PNR number of the flight. I tried checking the status of the bookings from Kingfisher directly and they said that they will NOT be operating this flight.
        My complaints to travelchacha are the following:

        hi all,

        travelchacha is not a fraud company.

        I had booked my tickets for travel on 25th august 2010 on spicejet airlines.

        I am a regular customer of travelchacha.com & only for this time i have faced delay in processing of my tickets.

        Yes, it is true that their process of generating e-tickets is running slow for this time, but they had given me my tickets before the date of departure. so i can say that they are not a fraud company.

        I think they are correct that their is some technical problem is going on in their server.

        Same problem here. My tickets are for 6th of September for the return journey and they have not confirmed yet. And unfortunately even if they confirm at the last minute i have no way to take a printout since i will on a trip abroad where i have no access to it. Imagine looking for a internet center in the jungles of Kenya.
        I agree there is no confirmation till date i had booked my tickets for Sep12 and i called the customer care today there are so rude all the say is u will get the tickets in next 2 days.

        surprisingly, I would like to share my experience with travelchacha.com

        I had booked two airline tickets for 25th September 2010 for delhi to mumbai. I had made the payment online & simultanously i received PNR number & e-ticket.

        I am shocked to see such a reviews on consumer forums about travelchacha.com because i have not faced any problem in processing of my tickets. There might be some problem in the past, but now i think that they are working smoothly on customer enquiries.

        I just want to share my experience with all of you, i have seen some bad reviews about travelchacha.com, but one of my friend suggested that it is a good & affordable company.

        So, i booked few airlines tickets from them & it was really a good experience. I got air tickets at cheapest rates. According to my opinion travelchacha is affordable travel portal & have best offers.

        so, won't trust on these bad reviews about travelchacha, go & check yourself.

        As I was searching over the net for cheapest online flight booking site, I have cross checked with many travel portals & travelchacha has lowest rates among the all. So, I booked my 2 tickets for delhi - bangalore.

        Also, i was quiet sacred about getting tickets done as i have seen few negative reviews about travelchacha.com

        But i have got the tickets on time.

        This is to share with all of you that i have booked flight tickets from travelchacha.com in the month of august 2010 & at that time company is facing some technical problem in their portal. So, i won't got my tickets on time.

        But i got my full refund & as i had promised to write this thing clear about the company on net, so i am posting this comment. They kept their promises.

        The problem seems to be ok now, I have just issued although there were negative postings about travelchacha.com on various websites. I used to be a reguar customer of them 1 year back. And it seems they are back again with even better services. But for tours, hotels & other services they always have good rates with very helping, supportive staffs.
        actually problem is with there system only, they do not have any online booking system which can generate instant PNR number for flights, actually due to cost and manpower constraint they can only display flight price on there sight with other information, and it look like online booking. so when you click on book now they will deduct the price from your bank, and then book ticket manually that's why they are facing so many complaints of not receipts of e-ticket.

        To begin with the itinerary for the tour I took (Classic Rajasthan) was rather scant on detail (first red flag). When I pressed the tour operator for more details he provided scant two sentence emails in response. The operator prior to and during the tour was otherwise responsive to my requests and complaints, and even accommodated a change in tour dates some days out from the scheduled tour. Local tour representatives were helpful in assisting me with any inquiries. I was not however provided with accommodation information until after I had begun the tour (another red flag). The tour operator cited the fact I had requested a date change and as a result accommodation options were limited, given I was taking the tour at a peak time. As to the veracity of this claim, I am uncertain, given I was able to find premium accommodation at very cheap prices at the time of my stay on oyorooms.com. Which left me wondering why then I was given for large part subpar accommodation.

        The tour offered two different options with accommodation: two stars and three stars. This appeared to be based on a local system of measurement, and as a foreigner I was not certain what each entailed nor what to expect. I selected the two star option anyway. Whatever two star was supposed to represent, the reality it would appear was average to poor. During the tour I experienced at various times unclean, unrenovated/poorly renovated rooms, intermittent to no hot water, stained sheets with cigarette hole burns, super slow WiFi, roaches, noisy shared spaces and no sound insulation, discourteous, intrusive and sometimes outright rude service, no toilet paper, linen, coat hangers etc. and limited English service. At two different hotels I asked to be given a quiet room, and in both instances they gave me a room directly underneath their restaurant. Day and night I could hear the loud scraping of patron’s chairs through the ceiling. One of the rooms appeared to have been abandoned halfway through renovations. It was missing a toilet seat, light fixtures, a ceiling fan and contained two locked closets (none which I could actually use) and a luggage case containing (presumably) the management's belongings. I found a used towel and someone's underwear hanging off the back of the door. When I complained to a staff member that my bed sheet was dirty, he insisted that it was clean and that the dark splotches were just tea stains. I had to insist he change the sheet. He removed the sheet and folded it up, evidently with the intention of reusing it.

        In one city I was made to stay at horrendous budget hotel which was comparable with a backpacker hostel. It only offered hot water at one time of the day but even then I never seemed to get any of it. Another hotel (the plushest of them all) turned out to have atrocious management. One night I had friend I made during a sightseeing trip join me at the hotel restaurant for a meal. The waiter inquired about whether he was a guest at the hotel. Afterwards the friend departed via the reception and I returned to my room. At 11.20pm the same waiter shows up at my door quizzing me about whether my friend had left. I rang management to inquire as to why such an intrusion was necessary given reception staff had seen him depart. Never heard back from him. The following morning I experienced yet another breach of etiquette. After taking my bags down to the restaurant to order my breakfast, one of the hotel staff approached me mid-meal to ask for the key, hours before my official check-out time. Seemed like the staff really could have benefited from some basic etiquette training.

        Guides were functional but few offered particularly insightful services. One only spoke basic English and in some cases couldn’t understand many simple questions (e.g. "What was the name of the fort we just left?"). In many cases I would’ve been better going with the monument's audio guides (sometimes included in the ticket price). Moreover, most of the guides providing the barest minimum information about the monuments visited, many did not even know the itinerary (and failed to take me to some of the listed sites) and yet still they expected tips. My operator advised me they were paid according to government standards and that tips were not in fact required. Which made me wonder why he failed to inform his employees of this fact. One even went out of their way to try to shame and intimidate me into paying him a tip, standing over me and refusing to leave after the end of the tour, then complaining about my apparent stinginess. Worse still, it seemed the norm for some guides to pressure guests into visiting places not on the itinerary, where you would be hassled by people trying to sell you local souvenirs. One guide insisted on taking me to two such places - a textile centre and a jewellers - where I was immediately set upon by half-a-dozen money-hungry sales representatives. No doubt they earned commission as a result but really this was really inappropriate behaviour.

        The main perk of this tour I would say was having a private car ferrying you from one place to another. I have no complaints about this aspect of the service, save that my driver once tried convincing me not to visit a place listed on the itinerary on the basis of it being too far away, despite the fact we had plenty of time to visit it and otherwise had no excuse not to. I had to resort to threatening to speak to the operator if the driver refused to fulfil his duty in this regard, at which point he relented. He also made the point of stopping the car by the side of the road on the way to the airport on the final day, pointing to the segment on my itinerary that says "no tips included" and then detailing in length how much he had done for me, claiming he had been at my service "24 hours" (not true). He then openly expressed his angry disapproval at the tip offered, which a local tourist guide friend told me was in fact more than sufficient. Apparently being a foreigner meant everyone expected you to be wealthy and therefore inclined to tip twice the standard amount. But really, the ingratitude was deeply embarrassing.

        The extra activities (camel ride, elephant ride, boat ride) were pedestrian affairs and could not even be described as an experience. The elephant ride involved a circuit of the rundown mahout camp. The camel ride was a 25 minute loop across the sand dunes at snail's pace. The boat ride took you to a largely featureless island in a lake then back again.

        By the end of this tour I was left with a feeling of having been shafted. For almost $2000 (AUD) - twice the "Indian" price listed on the operator's sister website Travel ChaCha - this tour did not for me (and according to the price estimates of my local tour guide friend) represent value for money. I am not sure where that money went but it certainly was not reflected in the quality of the tour. In hindsight I think it was designed for domestic tourists with markedly different expectations and the price bump was really just reflective of the whole Indian price/foreigner price custom. But it seems to me that if you are going to offer a service for foreigners, you should at least strive to accomodate standard expectations in terms of quality of service and accommodation. And just importantly, train your staff to treat them with a bit more respect and not as a cash-grab.

        Save yourself the heartache and the hassle and don't give your money to this tour operator.

          I booked a ticket from Pune to Kolkata for 9th Oct 2010 via Travelchacha.com on 1st August 2010. However, when the payment was completed, I didn't receive any confirmation or ticket even though the transaction was charged. After following up relentlessly, I received one email from flights.[protected]@gmail.com on 13th of august, informing my ticked is booked and they would dispatch it shortly. Till date I have not received a single communication from them and whenever I try to call them after hearing my issues they disconnect the call or put me on hold. I have written several emails to them seeking a response but till now I have not recieved anything. Now the flight rates have doubled and they are not giving me the tickets and the entire amount is charged. Please help me to bring to book these fraud companies.

          Travel Chacha — Travel Chacha not giving refund

          Last month I have booked two flight tkts through travel chacha using credit card and due to some reason I have to cancel it. at the time of cancellation they told I will get the refund in 25 days. Now 1 month passed and when I called them they are saying they need 10 more days to check with their accounts department. Now I have lost faith in travel chacha. Now what step shall I take to get my refund?

          Hi Guneshwori,

          I got your id from your communication but I have no expectations from you with regard to you even reading this full mail leave alone replying to it.

          The problem at your end is not only the fact that you suffered a technological setback but also the totally apathy with which your call center team has been handling the issue as well as the normal course of business.

          Take for instance my case, I had been doing regular business with you for last 1 year with transactions worth over Rs 60, 000. My recent transaction was with booking reference ANQIXJ, which happened probably during the time ur server crashed. Of course I haven't received my ticket yet as my travel is scheduled for 10th of September. For once I can understand and sympathize with your institution hoping that I will atleast get my ticket before the travel date.

          But for the past 2 weeks I have called up your call center and every time I have been given a different reason for delay. This will obviously cause suspicion in the minds of customers. Another very interesting thing your team does is that you people have no concept of logging customer calls and maintaining a reference number for the complaints. So when I ask for the same I am not given any and provided with evasive answers. This is topped up by the fact that if I insist on getting a reference number I am told that this will be mailed or we will call you up. Needless to say that never happens.

          My biggest pain however has been my issue with your accounts department which has been pending for 2 months. You have very vehemently declared that people who are not willing to wait should request for cancellation and you will process the refunds. Do you have any freaking idea how long a refund process takes in your organization?

          Picture this ---- My booking ID AIDJKQ: I had requested a refund post cancellation of the tickets on June 18, 2010.
          Well I believe two and a half months are decently long time for an organization which proclaims that it has spent crores for its customers to process a 7, 000 rupee claim if it has the intent too. But what I have been facing is in the appended mail below.

          So before raising a sympathy cry among the public please do try to see what your customers are facing and let me tell you it has nothing to do with the technical snag that you have experienced.

          Hi,

          This the fourth mail I am sending to you in the context of processing my refund for my booking reference ID : AIDJKQ [cancellation initiated on June 18th]. Lets not count the 15 odd times that I have called your customer service for this issue. That will firstly save you the embarrassment and secondly why the heck would you care to keep a record of that!!!

          Your apathy to the concerns/problems of a customer not only totally disappoints me but also disgusts me.

          I have been following up with you people for the last 2 months but to no avail. Every time I call to ask you what the status is on the refund, I am very conveniently told that the same will be processed in the next 2 days however the same has taken 2 months now.

          Every time I ask for any request for a complaint/request id none is given because probably nothing of that sort is maintained at your end.

          Needless to say that although my problem has not yet been resolved, I am pretty sure that I am not going to receive a reply on this mail either because as the statement reveals clearly --- It is my problem and not yours.

          When you will look at my history of previous transactions with you, you might realize (although I seriously don't think you even care a dime to check that back in your database) that I have been a regular customer with you for the past one year with transactions of over Rs 60, 000 with you.

          The one thing I have realized is that doing business with you comes with a serious caveat --- "trust us to deliver as long as everything goes on well, but help you god if things take a turn for the unexpected and your fate rests in the hands of our customer service"

          I am pleased to inform you that even my 16th call today has been received with similar high adherence to your customer service standards.
          The call lasted for 15 minutes of which I was on hold for 8 mins
          I was very courteously told - "Oh 2 months is a long period" but your refund request has been sent for processing only today. (I am wondering if Radhika's mail below was a doctor's prescription to reduce my suffering?)
          When I said that I have already been told this a month before, I was assured - "Refund hai sir ho jayega 1-2 din mein"
          I told him that I need some sort of reference number which can prove that either the refund is in process or that this request/complaint has been recorded. I was then made to understand that there is no such system in place where formal requests or complaints are lodged.
          Finally in an act of generosity, I was told that the person responsible will be asked to give me a call and a mail on the same will be sent to me in a day.
          As I am only too aware of how this has been working for the past 2 months, I decided that I must drop a mail. Who knows if this mail is not outright deleted from records somebody who cares for this business may actually read and decide to do something if not for my sake then may be for his own.

          I support this complaint. And i am also facing the same issue.
          I have called them almost 50 times and all they can do is nothing. This is really pathetic and they are completely fraud.
          Its been almost 45 days and i haven't received my Refund. Please check into it and take serious action against them.
          I swear i will never book a ticket again using their portal and will suggest others not to use it either.

              I am doing business of Tours and Travels, recently I some Travelchacha tele executive Ms. Bipasha contacts me and convince to be a franchisee of Travelchacha.com online booking.She describe many attractive offers for Travel Agents, then I am agree to be a franchisee of TravelChaCha and as per communication I deposited Rs.1,00,000/- on 1st July 2010 in their account,after that till today only three times I am able to book tickets,all the times their server not working and now when I want to refund my remaining money then nobody answered me on telephone or E-mail. my 80000/- Rs Still credit with them.

              Please guide me what should I do???

              Hi everybody, I had booked tickets from Travelchacha.com when i have seen their discount offer. My money has been debited from Credit card account but after that they falied to issue me tickets.After my relentless effort of 4-5 days i could talk to the Their Ticketing Manager. I reasoned them out to issue my tickets ( total 6 tickets ).The lady promised me to issue my tickets within 30 min, and she kept her word. She has done it and sent my PNR.And i could see that the amount they have bought the tickets for me is higher then what they have charged me. So i believe, yes they failed in terms of their management /buisness acumen, but talking about being FRAUD, I believe they ARE NOT. IT WAS JUST A SUICIDAL MISTAKE THEY HAVE DONE.

              So I believe we should forgive them once.Its not because I recieved my tickest, but because they are still trying and did not run away with our money...Ashim Dutta.
              Travelchacha are big fraud...let me give you some reasonable thoughts about it:
              1. You search on internet, there are hell number of people complaining that the money gets debited from their account but tickets are not booked, common reason given to customers are price raised, server issue etc. This happened to me as well. And believe me, I too work a lot with servers, its never that you find issues so often with servers like this as it happens in Travelchacha.

              2. Let's say, they really have an issue with their application or server. But when you call them back for refund, they will never say no, instead they will say that it will take 4-5 days. This is happening to me since last 6 months (for an amount of Rs 7500). They are so ready to send the cheque to me but due to some reasons they did not till now. (Only God knows why).

              3. They do not even have their own email domain. They use GMAIL for communication.

              4. Seeing above I think that they may have some kind of strategy, to debit the amount and try not to refund. Who knows...may be after few more tries I give up my 7500 rs. And thus they gain.

              FYI: I talk to Dharmendra and Prem in Refund deptt of Travelchacha. They politely make promises but never keep up to it.

                  I booked a flight from travel chacha bound to delhi from Bangalore on 8th of september,2010 they deducted the amount (booking was online) but they never sent the PNR or the flight ticket at all.I called them some 32 times all in all,but they always gave me an assurance that it will be send to me soon,but that never happened.The booking was worth Rs3195 and I feel I have lost the money.
                  Even I got my booking done for 24 nov with the same fare 3195 from Bangalore to Delhi. No ticket no cofirmation or booking details and no one picks up the calls.
                  Even I got my tickets booked on Aug 2nd 2010 for Delhi-Cochin-Delhi. Even after following up with them regularly tickets yet to be issued. THE airline PNR number updated against my ticket details are not correct as confirmed from airline website. Customer service executive says everytime that in 30 minutes I will get my ticket but the same is not happening. The customer care number is hard to get - either ringing continuously without anyone responding or someone deliberately disconnecting the phone.

                    I have the same issue with a ticket booked on 22nd July. They said that there is a problem with e ticket generation component.

                    I asked for an airline PNR so I could check on the airline directly. The customer care gave me a PNR which the indigo site could not identify. He then said they will issue a new PNR. Don't know if this was just a gimmick to get me off the call. They already tried to ask me to call back in 15 minutes several times (but this was already my second call, the last one assured me the e ticket will be issued in an hour which obviously never happened)

                    I had no option but to disconnect the call. I am not sure if they will be able to issue a ticket at all by the time of my flight (on 29th). This was the first time I tried travelchaha. I will never ever try to save a couple of hundred bucks and book on travelchacha.com and make sure everyone I know knows about this. This is another ezeego1! God save us from such inefficient and possibly fraud companies.
                    I have the same issue with two tickets booked on 23rd July. They said that there is a problem with e ticket generation component. I have received the booking reference number but no ticket.

                    Can you please tell if people have received their tickets before their flight date or not.

                    I just want to make sure that the booking is done.
                    I have the same issue i booked a ticket 2 days ago. Tickets show as under process on the website but nothing is working.
                    I had booked my ticket on 24th of July. My date of journey is 26th August.
                    No ticket has been issued. After days of trying, I managed to talk with their customer support representative.
                    The lady assured that a ticket would be issued by 1st of August.
                    That might be just an empty promise.
                    I am keeping my fingers crossed.

                    I hope all o[censored]s facing trouble with travelchacha get our issues resolved at the soonest.

                    Else, anyone staying in Delhi might try approaching their office directly for redressal.
                    Pls do not book any ticket with travelchacha.com they are giving the tickets for cheap rates but their service is very poor, I know whats running in ur mind, why we should bother abt service when we get cheap tickets, the prob is ur ticket booking will be failed u will keep trying 2-3 times and they will detuct all money from ur card later on u will receive 2-3 ticket with same name and travel date, now u will call call center and no one will pick ur call and even if they pick they will disconnect or give lame excuse that they are help less i have lost money with them rest of them pls be aware.

                    I am another victim of travelchacha.com I booked ticket with ref No.: ANHJMK even after 2 days they are continue saying that my booking confirm through email when I insisted for PNR they are not just replying email. The worst thing is that person on Toll free no. do not pick up phone and another no. they pick and just put the phone on hold without saying anything. I called Kingfisher people they say the ticket has been cancelled because of non-payment even though they took payment 2 days back. Please never take any service from travel chacha / Culture Holidays India Pvt. Ltd. - Its not just their customer care people but their MD Sanjay Basin even do no reply any mail or take care of it.
                    It is number one fraud site to book flight tickets

                      I had booked my ticket from travelchacha from pune to bangalore on 18th Augast,
                      Everything was successful till the payment deduction. Once the payement was deducted from my HDFC Account, i din receive the confirmation details, it jus said it'l be updated within 15mins,
                      i called up customer care numb and the lady said it'l be updated within 30mins as their server is down. i waited for 30mins and thn again called but there was no one to respond. Today i asd her regardin this and she told me the support team will contact me back and i asd i need to speak now but she cut the call.

                      I had booked an air ticket from an online site travelchacha.com on 4th August 2010.In their site it is specified that I will get the e-ticket via email with 1 business day.I did'nt get the ticket through email or any confirmation from them in this regard till 7th August 2010(3 business days over).In their site status still show as "Under process" - So I miss the chance to get a confirmed ticket.I had called to there office several times through different numbers provided in their site and send emails to them but no response at all - no one is attending phone calls just ringing.So I strongly suspecting that its a fraudulant site.I had done the payment through Visa credit card and the site is encripted via https(with valid certificate).How to give complaint? How to get the full amout back?
                      Does this site help resolving the complaints?? Are the complaints being fowarded to the company or someone to take action??

                        Hi All,

                        I have booked a Air ticket with this company in morning. They told I shall get the ticket in 15 minutes. But till 1 PM neither I have the tickets nor they are providing me the status.

                        I spoke to "Ayushi". First she said there is technical snag, then she said I will get in 1/2 hr and then in 10 minutes. And finally she said she will either call or provide updates within 1 PM today. She didnt call.

                        I also tried to reach Ashish Bhasin who seems to be owner of this company but my issue is still not resolved.
                        Request you to please intervene and please get it resolved immediately. My only problem is that what if I don't get a ticket on that particular day. If they cannot provide the ticket then they should tell me right now so that I can move on to next provider.

                          I had booked through travel chacha on 21 february 2009 for 4 adults from BOM to COK on 8th april 2009 and another ticket for same from COK to BOM on 16th april 2009, which i had to cancel on 4th april 2009 and got 2 mails from you assuring the refund of Rs.10944/- and Rs.10912/- confirming the cancellation. and was asked for a time delay of 25-25 working days !! for the processing of the refunds back to my account.

                          I had called 3 times regarding the refund in the tollfree number[protected] after the end of the time delaythey have mentioned in mail. each time i was assured that the transaction will be done in 2-3 days and will reflect in my account soon which has never happened!!

                          i had last called your toll free number[protected] on 23rd may 2009, and came to know that till date nothing is being done to settle the issue.

                          I had been using travelchacha for my flight bookings i am very much unhappy with the way things are happening and being delt with now.

                          First of all Mr. Emeffer even if these your so called stoopid ( Stupid ) consumer complaint websites work or not but atleast if a new user trying to use the service of Travelchacha will come to know that they are NOT AT ALL reliable when it comes to refund.

                          Even I am facing the same refund amount problem Its almost 2.5 months now and till date they are saying it will be done in 2-3 days and nothing has happened then.

                          My Refund Ref no : 10349 is due pending 4th Dec 2009 and today is 23.02.2010 and no refund in my account.

                          Is any body listening to all these TRAVELCHACHA complaints and please address the issues.

                            Booked a trip to Singapore/Malaysia through travelchacha.com in the month of Jan 09. Original passports were sent to travel agenct for VISA & other formalities. Accordinly, as agreed Rs 97, 700/- were paid to travelchaha in advance to arrange for the tour.

                            Travelchacha sent VISA/Passports back to us through Blue Dart courier after completing formalities. But, we could not undertake our tour as VISA/Passports sent by travelchacha could not be delivered to us. Same are even untraceable till date. As a result tour has to be cancelled.

                            Now travelchaha is not refunding us our full amount deposited with them. Moreover our original passports has been lost by them. They are deducting around 25000/- as cancellation charges. Nothing being done for lost passports...

                            I have seen that there are regular complaints filed against travelchahca.com website which either has not issued the tickets or has not refunded the money or etc.I urge the consumer complaints department to strictly look in the matter. My Booking reference number is ANPOBI. I had booked the tickets on 10th of August and had to cancel it because they still wanted 1.5 months to issue the tickets. Then I cancelled the tickets on 17th August and still I have not received my refund.

                            My experience here is the same. The company charged me but didn't deliver the tickets also when tried to call customer care on [protected] or [protected] firstly no one answers the call untill 30-40 trials in a day and when answers they hangup stating "your travel date has time and will deliver the ticket to you." Even after cancelling the tickets they are not even providing me with the refund reference number and hangup. I want to file a complaint against the website and its owner to use the customers money without providing services also the customer is completely unprofessional with their customer handling.

                            Sir/Madam urge you to please look in the matter and get the needful done as it's my hard earned money.

                            Request you to blacklist the company and stop it from doing business in the above said manner.
