I am writing to formally express my extreme dissatisfaction with the services I have received from the Apple Service Centre (Unicorn halwasiya, Hazratganj- 226001) Lucknow. I submitted My macBook Pro in the last week month of March 2024. Technician at Lucknow center suggested me to embed motherboard and battery with 3 months warranty, total cost Rs 85000, which I paid to get my laptop in complete working condition.
After the replacement, I found below issue still underlying:
1. Persistent Overheating: it is getting heating just after switching on of laptop and gradually become overheated the back panel, keyboard as well as screen panel.
2. Battery Drain: Although they had replacement the battery but after 10 days o[censored]sage of laptop battery had started draining rapidly and battery life has been compromised.
3. Lagging or slowness: System started lagging using more than 1 tab and hang sometimes.
I informed about above mentioned issue to seek assistance from them in the warranty period itself. Firstly, they were not ready to accept fault in system but later they took my laptop for further diagnostics. Upon diagnosis, technician started giving false and unsatisfactory reason for laptop not working completely mentioned as below:
1. Incompatibility of OS, use OS current version -1.
2. Always stay at OS version -1(ventura).
3. don’t use camera.
4. use Coolpad if seems overheating.
5. Suggested not to open old files.
6. Don’t use zoom or google meet.
7. Don’t use multiple tabs on Safari.
8. Don’t open multiple files at a time.
9. Don’t open files on iCloud which is older than 6months.
10. Don’t use laptop if charging.
Above mentioned point is not as per that Apple guideline.
On my sixth visit in this hot summer, after observing that the laptop overheated the technician claimed to ignore this heating and as per him such heating is normal and expected heating. Prior to your repairs, my laptop did not exhibit such issues, and I could use it for extended periods without it overheating. I am feared that within sometime my laptop will stop functioning because of this overheating and
Apart from this there were more people facing same issue after replacement of parts.
This level of service is not what I expected from Apple. It appears that there is an attempt to evade proper resolution of my laptop’s issues until the warranty expires, thereby incurring further costs on my part.
This type of behavior seems a mental harassment to me and frustrating me day-by-day and making my mind unstable as I had to visit multiple time without getting proper resolution.
Please treat this matter with the urgency it deserves. I expect a prompt resolution to avoid escalating this complaint further.
