Universal Sompo — Not approved total amount of hospitalization charges | |||||
Dear sir, My son was admitted in last 18 feb to 20 feb and my total hospital charges are 23948 rs but TPA approved only 13180 rs. TPA tell me dr charges not get above 500 rs but dr charges are more than 500 hundred and also befor admitted I verify with u r Costomer care team about charges they tell me all charges are paybal . Pl ask the insurer to furnish item wise amount allowed in writing & verify the same with terms & conditions of policy document, if the same is matching with conditions of policy, pl insist the insurer to settle the claim as per policy coverage. you may pl be note that if the policy basic one at low premiums benefits will also be low that is on fixed rate irrespective expenses incurred.
