[Resolved] Urban Company — Company refused to pay money for work done under warranty | |||
I booked AC repair service from Urban Company on 18th April 2021. A total of Rs 3, 147 was paid for the service and repair (including gas filling) of AC. The company provides 90 days warranty for the repair. I started to face functional issues in AC by end June 2021. I tried to contact the old person (Sokeen) who made the service but unable to contact him. Hence, I had to raise a new service cum repair request on Urban company app. New person call (Mohd Varis) from Urban company was assigned for work on 10th July. Before the start of the work I told him that last repair is still under warranty. He asked me to speak to the customer care team and started the work. As I requested for a call back in the Urban company app, they called me within 15 min. I explained him the case and informed me to make the payment for the fresh work done and the amount will be refunded within 24 hours. He also raised a complain in the system to resolve the matter. The complain id is "UC05de85aa7". He told that his team will call back within 24 hours and make the refund. A lady by the name Karona, called me from Urban Company and simply refused to adjust the payment. She stated the reason that since I had raised new request, she can not adjust the payment. When I asked her to transfer the call to her supervisor she simply denied and told we can't help you further. This is purely unprofessional way of working and as a customer I feel cheated. I would like to raise a formal complaint against urban company and its representative (Karona) for cheating its customer in the name of 90 days warranty. They should refund Rs 2848/- paid for the service and repair which is still under warranty. Was this information helpful? | |||
