My window air conditioner was serviced for cleaning on 24th March. The machine is not in much use and when started on 2nd Apr,
unusual high pitch running sound was noticed.
Under your 30 days warranty of damage of
appliance, a claim was lodged on 3rd Apr. Since then I got call from your customer care team 2 times about assigning
senior technician to fix the problem, but no visit was made.
Then in next 2 -3 calls, they simply refused to provide services saying slots are not
available and I can get refund only.
Then, I called Hitachi service, they examined the m/c and found that motor is damaged because of water ingression during water jet cleaning and recommended motor change which will cost me Rs. 8600+ service charge Rs 500. Under the provision of your 30 days warranty, I claim above amount .
