[Resolved] Urban Company — Damage to property
I ordered the intense cleaning package for 2 bathrooms from urban company. The so called professional arrived 1hour late. He took 9 hours for a service that was supposed to take only 2-3hours. He was pre-emptively requested to not use any chemicals on the bathroom fittings. Despite all requests and reasons he argued and was adamant with the use of chemicals on our brand new jaguar fittings. Consequently all the polish of the fittings is now permanently damaged. As mentioned on the site he was supposed to take the paint stains off of the tiles. He didn’t do that. The paint stains are still there and the furnishings are ruined. Plus he ruined the entire day for us by taking so long. He only worsened a completely new and clean bathroom. I had availed the service just so we could have the paint stains removed and the exhaust cleaned. But now I am left with so much damage to my property. When I tried to raise this issue in the site I was told that the issue cannot be taken further because to close the service I had tick marked the services provided. The options given there were irrelevant and the person who had come to clean specifically told me that he could not leave unless I closed the service on the app. So not only was I bearing g the brunt of the damage but I was forced to close the service as satisfactory on the site and now I am unable to report the issues that have been caused.
