I had booked a premium full house cleaning service with Urban Company for Oct 22nd 5 days in advance by paying 1000 Rs for a slot which was showing as available. On Oct 22nd at the time slot booked by me (10 am), no professional was assigned and no communication was given to me. After requesting a call, I was informed that they haven’t been able to arrange the professional and was assured a professional is being arranged for Oct 23rd at 10 am. After hours of waiting and discussion with their team, one professional was assigned. This assigned professional called me and insisted to do the service 7 hour service in 3 hours today instead of booked time on Oct 23. When I requested him to do it tomorrow as today wasn’t possible for me, he said he can’t do it. After that again, I was assured by UC team that they are arranging next best professional, but a professional with very bad review was assigned to me. It has been a very extremely disappointing experience and a complete mental harassment to have booked UC service even after paying in advance. Various rounds of discussions with the last person in escalation matrix also resulted in only cancellation with refund as a solution for the entire harassment and at the end of it, I am left with no visibility of cleaning my house before Diwali. I had to plan it closer since earlier they didn’t have slots and didn’t opt for alternative as they had these slots available. A very unprofessional team with no respect for people’s time and concerns. I request the UC management to intervene to resolve the issue at the earliest. Was this information helpful? |
