Urban Company — My AC is Damaged by Urban Technician

Hi Team,

My name is Ninad Haldankar.

On Monday 11th October 2021, I booked a Split AC regular Service for my LG AC which was working fine without a single issue. A Technician named Ramsajeevan Sharma visited my home and performed the job. Immediately after his service, Water started leaking from my Indoor AC hence I raised a revisit request. Same technician i.e. Ramsajeevan visited my place on the same day and tried to resolve the issue however water leakage was not stopped hence I raised a request for SME.

On 12th October 2021, Another technician named Mohd Shakeel Shaikh visited my place to check the water leakage issue. After his service, Now my AC stopped cooling all together. I believe he completely damaged my AC unit which is worth 48K and was working fine for the last 4 years.

I tried to call Mohd Shakeel Shaikh, however he told me to call Urban as it now involves additional charges of repair. Not only did he intentionally damage my AC and now he is not ready to solve the problem which he only created. Instead of stopping water leakage, he performed some tasks due to which AC cooling stopped completely and he charged Urban 1099 rupees for this faulty service.

Please repair my AC Unit as early as possible and also take strict action against such technician who damages customers AC. I tried to reach Urban company on twitter, facebook and Android app however not getting any calls also no one is ready to help.

Hi Team,

Since yesterday, I spoke to around 4 Urban support executives stilll no resolution till now. There is no helpline number to call with which we can find out the status of the complaint. I am sitting duck without any help.

Today, New Urban Technician visited my home, performed only the basic inspection of the damaged AC and left. He told me that PCB might be damaged by the handling of previous Urban SME who opened the AC and touched the wirings. Please help as it is already been 3 days.

Today i have been waiting for the entire day for the new technican to come. In the morning, he told me that he would come at 1pm.. then when i called back, he again rescheduled to 4pm and then again rescheduled at 5.30. It is now 06.30 still no call back from him.

I completely hopless now that i would get any help from your side. It is been a 5 days of mental harresment for me. Extrememy disappointed with Urban service.
