Description of the Incident:
We returned to out flat on 20th Feb 2022 after 2 years due to pandemic and found that my refrigerator was not cooling upon switched on.
I looked for refrigerator technician from Urban company on 21st Feb 2022. Technician visited and made couple of more subsequent visits in Feb 2022 to replace fan motor and other sensors. Even after that the problem didn't resolve, so he refilled the gas, but still it didn't work.
Then I raised a concern with LG directly to come and resolve, LG technician came and found that Compressor was mishandled by previous technician during the gas refilling and it cannot be repaired. He also mentioned that it may work but still the problem will return as gas was not refilled properly.
Once I got the information, I raised a concern with Urban company customer care and they spoke to the technician as well. Next day, the same technician came along with one more person (probably LG technician) and they switched on the system. Post this the refrigerator worked and they charged INR[protected] online +1000 cash) from me, but the issue happened again after 8-10 days.
I informed the same thing to the technician and he visited again to refill the gas, which worked for 2 days and then again it stopped cooling.
He was informed again, this time he visited and broke the complete circuit and bypassed all the existing gas pipe, but it didn't work.
He made few more visits to correct the same and charged INR 1850 online for spare, but fridge didn't turned up. He also raised hand and said it can't be repaired.
When I contacted Urban company on this, they created another case so that one senior technician can visit and resolve. The senior technician came and checked and told that Compressor is damaged and it can't be repaired.
During all the visits (Approx 11 visits), he charged me INR 6350 .
Since the compressor of the refrigerator was under warranty, he should not have touched or broken the company setup, due to this, the refrigerator got damaged and unclaimed in warranty.
Desirable solution : Urban company should repair my refrigerator or replace.
