Sharing my horrible experience with ul:
Order id r[protected].

The series of transactions is as follows:
1) placed the order on ul on may 2nd, 2017 for order value of inr 53998
2) made pre-payment on may 2nd, 2017 for 25% of the order value, inr13, 500
3) on may 11, 2017, called the customer care team at ul and requested for an expedited delivery
4) on may 20, 2017, received email from ul saying that order will get delayed by 5-7 days
5) on may 22, 2017, called the customer care at ul again to check on status, since this was totally unexpected delay. I then requested for cancellation of order which was not entertained because it was a pre-paid order. I then informed that i had made a request for expedited delivery and if not before promised delivery date of 23rd may, atleast the product should have been delivered by 23rd may.
6) i was then told by customer care member kashif, that he will get back to me in 24 hours, ie by eod may 23rd 2017 and update me on status of my order.
7) on may 25th, 2017 wrore an email to ul and they didn't even reply to my original email.
8) they replied with a generic reply saying the sofa has reached warehouse and will let me know the status.
9) got a call from ul on 29th may that order will be delivered on 30th may between 3 to 6 pm
10) till 3:30 pm no call from ul, and the number of the delivery guy on the sms was wrong!
11) had to again call follow back with the customer care. Finally the product arrived at 5 pm and it was damaged! The product had visible dents on its leg and the sofa was wobbly. These are the basic checks one does on the sofa and ul claims it does umpteen number of quality checks.
Now, my money is stuck with them for a month and they are not even returning my money. Horrified with the experience.
